Angesichts des weltweiten Trends, Lebensmittel online zu bestellen, untersucht die Arbeit, warum dieser Trend in ländlichen Regionen weniger stark ausgeprägt ist, indem sowohl die Perspektive der Anbieter als auch die der potenziellen Kunden durch empirische Forschung analysiert wird.

Im ersten Teil der Arbeit wird eine Ausgangsstudie analysiert, die zu dem Ergebnis kommt, dass sich der Online-Lebensmittelhandel vor allem in städtischen Gebieten etabliert hat, während der Markt in ländlichen Regionen aufgrund hoher Logistik- und Investitionskosten sowie geringer Nachfrage und ungünstiger institutioneller Rahmenbedingungen auf Schwierigkeiten stößt. Darauf aufbauend wird im zweiten Teil eine Folgestudie konzipiert, die die Gründe für die Zurückhaltung der Konsumenten in ländlichen Gebieten gegenüber dem Online-Lebensmitteleinkauf untersuchen soll.

Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2025 im Fachbereich Ingenieurwissenschaften - Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen, Note: 1,3, Hochschule Fresenius Idstein, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Diese Arbeit untersuchte den Zusammenhang zwischen der Größe von Venture Capital Gesellschaften (VCG) und ihrer digitalen Präsenz. Zunächst wurden die theoretischen Grundlagen erarbeitet, um ein Verständnis für die Funktionsweise von VCG, ihre Rolle im Finanzierungsprozess von Startups und die Messung ihrer Größe zu schaffen. Dabei wurde die wachsende Bedeutung der digitalen Präsenz im Fundraising hervorgehoben. Auf Basis des Forschungsstands wurde die Forschungsfrage formuliert, ob ein Zusammenhang zwischen der Größe von VCG und ihrer digitalen Präsenz besteht. Diese Frage wurde durch die Hypothese ergänzt, dass der Zusammenhang positiv sei. Zur Beantwortung basierte die quantitative Analyse auf einer multiplen linearen Regressionsanalyse anhand einer Kombination von Primär- und Sekundärdaten. Der Einfluss spezifischer Variablen der digitalen Präsenz, insbesondere zu Social Media und der Website von VCG, auf die Größe von VCG wurde anhand einer Stichprobe von 135 VCG untersucht. Die Ergebnisse wurden im Kontext der Forschungsfrage interpretiert, Limitationen aufgezeigt und praxisrelevante Implikationen diskutiert. 

Die Regressionsanalyse bestätigt einen positiven, jedoch schwachen Zusammenhang zwischen der Größe von VCG und ihrer digitalen Präsenz. Signifikante Einflussfaktoren sind die Anzahl der LinkedIn-Follower, die Likes der letzten LinkedIn-Posts sowie das Vorhandensein eines Limited-Partner-Logins auf der Website. Diese Ergebnisse betonen die Relevanz gezielter Social Media Aktivitäten sowie spezifische Website-Funktionen als Bestandteil der digitalen Präsenz für das Fundraising. Die Hypothese eines positiven Zusammenhangs wird bestätigt, jedoch ohne Beweis für Kausalität.
