Seminar paper from the year 2023 in the subject Business economics - Business Ethics, Corporate Ethics, grade: 1,7, Heilbronn University, language: English, abstract: The goal of this paper is to find out if and why greenwashing is a curse for society, what the difference to sustainability is, how companies like Nike are involved and how they are dealing with it. 

In the first chapter this seminar paper is dedicated to the basics and will answer the following questions: What does greenwashing and what does sustainability mean? What are the different forms and characteristics of greenwashing? Is greenwashing and sustainability the same thing and if not, what are the differences? 

So here follows the classification and explanation of the term’s sustainability and greenwashing as well as their distinction from each other. 
The second chapter deals exclusively with the Nike brand. Here the corporate philosophy is explained, and the sustainability strategy is shown. This is underpinned by practical examples. 
The third chapter deals with the consequences and effects of greenwashing. It explains what the sins of greenwashing are and whether and how it affects today's society. Again a few examples are listed to provide practical relevance and to make it clear that it affects the entire society. 
How to reduce and recognize greenwashing are the subjects of chapter four. Additional solutions are sought here to avoid greenwashing. 
After that there will come a summary and a conclusion of the whole seminar paper.

Master's Thesis from the year 2024 in the subject Business economics - Offline Marketing and Online Marketing, grade: 66, University of Plymouth (Plymouth Business School), course: Business managemnet, language: English, abstract: This study was aimed at examining the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on digital marketing of SMEs in Nigeria. The respondents of this study were SMEs owners in Lagos State, Nigeria. Quantitative and qualitative data was collected with the aid of questionnaire and interview section respectively. Qualitative data was analyzed with thematic analysis while the quantitative data was analyzed with correlation and regression to test the hypothesis generated. This study revealed that the use of AI by SMEs in Nigeria had a positive impact on digital marketing and sales performance. It also identified the major challenge associated with the application of AI in the digital marketing initiatives of Nigerian SMEs to be the lack of AI professionals to facilitate the integration of AI into their digital marketing initiatives.

Multinationale Unternehmen führen ihre Aktivitäten gleichzeitig in mehreren Ländern durch, zwischen denen es Unterschiede im Steuersystem gibt. Aufgrund dieser Tatsache laufen sie möglicherweise sogar Gefahr, einer Doppelbesteuerung ausgesetzt zu sein. In der Regel werden jedoch die gesetzlichen Lücken ausgenutzt, was zu einer doppelten Nichtbesteuerung führt. Um dies zu vermeiden, was negative Auswirkungen auf das Wirtschaftswachstum und den Wohlstand im Allgemeinen haben kann, haben viele Staaten untereinander Vereinbarungen zur Vermeidung der Doppelbesteuerung getroffen. Für die Besteuerung von Unternehmen auf internationaler Ebene können die Staaten zwei Prinzipien anwenden. Zum einen können sie das Wohnsitzlandprinzip anwenden, bei dem das Unternehmen in dem Land, in dem der Ort der Geschäftsleitung liegt, unbeschränkt steuerpflichtig ist. Zum anderen gibt es das Quellenlandprinzip, wodurch ein Unternehmen beschränkt steuerpflichtig in dem Land ist, in dem die Gewinne generiert werden.
