Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2022 im Fachbereich BWL - Unternehmensforschung, Operations Research, Note: 1,0, SRH Fernhochschule (Betriebswirtschaftliche Fakultät), Veranstaltung: Märkte und Branchen, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die vorliegende Arbeit zielt darauf ab, die Branchenstrukturanalyse in der Automobilherstellerbranche durchzuführen, basierend auf den theoretischen Grundlagen des Five-Forces-Modells von Michael E. Porter. Die Arbeit gliedert sich in mehrere Abschnitte, beginnend mit einer Einführung in die theoretischen Grundlagen der Branchenstrukturanalyse. Hier werden die fünf treibenden Kräfte des Five-Forces-Modells erläutert, gefolgt von einer Diskussion über das Ziel dieser Analyse.Im darauf folgenden Kapitel wird die Automobilherstellerbranche genauer unter die Lupe genommen. Zunächst wird die Branche charakterisiert und relevante Kennzahlen vorgestellt. Anschließend werden spezifische Aspekte der Branchenstrukturanalyse, insbesondere die Verhandlungsmacht der Lieferanten und die Substitution durch Ersatzprodukte, näher betrachtet.Eine kritische Würdigung der Branchenstrukturanalyse nach Michael E. Porter wird im vierten Kapitel vorgenommen, gefolgt von einer Zusammenfassung der Ergebnisse und einem Ausblick auf die Zukunftsperspektiven der Automobilherstellerbranche im fünften Kapitel.Das übergeordnete Ziel dieser Arbeit besteht darin, Einblicke in die Struktur und die dynamischen Kräfte der Automobilherstellerbranche zu gewinnen und dabei insbesondere die Bedeutung der Verhandlungsmacht der Lieferanten und der Substitution durch Ersatzprodukte herauszuarbeiten. Durch eine kritische Reflexion der angewandten Methoden wird ein tieferes Verständnis für die Möglichkeiten und Grenzen der Branchenstrukturanalyse nach Michael E. Porter angestrebt.

These questions were derived as the primary reasons for this thesis and were motivated due to the current global health and social crisis, the economic disruptions caused by it all over the world, the need to better understand the effects of it on businesses and the need to investigate the best ways to be able to better cope with future disruptions. Main question: How can export-oriented industrial SMEs build resilience in times of the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond? Sub question 1: How has the COVID-19 pandemic affected the global economy in the context of international trade? Sub question 2: What have been the main challenges faced by B2B export-oriented SMEs during the COVID-19 pandemic? Owing to the new and emerging field of business research that the COVID-19 pandemic has created, research has been developing on the topic. Researchers have primarily concentrated on specific issues such as understanding the impacts of the pandemic on the supply chain, import and export flows and trade policies. Often lacking a practical-oriented application of findings for Managers and their organizations and a focus on the challenges faced by export-oriented Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs).  The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to examine the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on international business operations and especially in Business to Business international sales and marketing focusing first and foremost on SMEs, and to provide a concise overview concerning the topic of international trade disruptions during the pandemic as well as strategies and better practices for responding to and mitigating these risks and threats.

Christensen, Richard Bohmer und John Kenagy zur Anwendung von disruptiven Innovationen im Gesundheitswesen zusammengefasst. Dabei werden auch praktische Beispiele aufgeführt, wie das Kernargument praktisch umgesetzt werden könnte.Im zweiten Kapitel werden das Phänomen der ‚Killer Acquisitions‘ und die damit verbundenen strategischen Überlegungen erläutert. Dabei wird auch auf die gesellschaftlichen Nachteile eingegangen und Rückschlüsse bezüglich der Theorien von Christensen, Bohmer und Kenagy gezogen.

Beginnend mit einer Einführung in die Evolution von Apple von einem Computerhersteller zu einem Anbieter vielfältiger Produkte, wird die Bedeutung von Innovation und Technologie im heutigen Markt hervorgehoben. Inspiriert von den revolutionären Produkten von Apple und den Worten seines Gründers Steve Jobs, wird die Motivation hinter der intensiven Auseinandersetzung mit der Produktpolitik von Apple erläutert. Die Arbeit gliedert sich in mehrere Kapitel, darunter eine Definition des Begriffs "Produkt", die Erläuterung der Ziele einer Produktpolitik, eine Analyse des Produktprogramms und eine Untersuchung des Produktlebenszyklus. Insbesondere wird auf das iPhone als Schlüsselprodukt von Apple eingegangen. Zudem werden die produktpolitischen Entscheidungen von Apple im Kontext des Marketing-Mix betrachtet. Das dritte Kapitel bietet einen Überblick über das Unternehmen Apple Inc. sowie eine detaillierte Darstellung seines Produktprogramms und des Produktlebenszyklus.
