This paper explores the concept of social marketing, emphasizing its key benchmarks, including audience segmentation, behavioral objectives, exchange theory, the marketing mix, and competition analysis. The "Truth" anti-smoking campaign serves as a case study to illustrate the effectiveness of social marketing in reducing smoking rates among youth. The campaign’s success demonstrates the potential of well-researched social marketing interventions in shaping public behavior and promoting sustainable social development. Additionally, the paper examines the strengths and weaknesses of social marketing, addressing its long-term impact, ethical considerations, and challenges in implementation. Effective human resource management is essential for sustaining productivity and ensuring the welfare of employees in this labor-intensive sector. As part of my internship at Nassa Taipei Denims Limited, located in the Comilla EPZ, I explored the integration of technology into human resource management. This report, titled "Use of Technology to Manage Human Resources in Garment Industry: A Study on Nassa Taipei Denims Limited," focuses on the utilization of technological solutions, particularly the HR software 'Lucid HR,' and its impact on streamlining HR processes within the organization.

The study highlights the comprehensive application of 'Lucid HR' in various HR functions. Attendance tracking is automated through the integration of card-punching machines and the software. The card-punching system records in/out times, ensuring accurate and real-time monitoring of employee presence. The software maintains a centralized database containing comprehensive employee details, including job cards, joining dates, and demographic information. Leave applications and approvals, including maternity leave reports, are managed digitally, reducing paperwork and ensuring compliance with labor laws. The payroll system, integrated with attendance data, automates salary calculations, allowances, and overtime payments, eliminating manual errors and enhancing accuracy. Additionally, the software sends timely notifications to employees about important updates, including leave approvals, payroll details, and compliance requirements. Real-time tracking of overtime hours ensures transparency in compensating employees for additional work.
