AKAD Fachhochschule Stuttgart (Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen), Veranstaltung: Interdisziplinäre Kompetenz, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die vorliegende wissenschaftliche Arbeit widmet sich der eingehenden Analyse des cyber-physischen Produktionssystems (CPS) und dessen Auswirkungen auf den Faktor Mensch in der Industrie 4.0. In einem Zeitalter, in dem die Smart Factory als Synonym für die intelligente Fabrik steht, gewinnt das CPS zunehmend an Einfluss. Die Vernetzung von Betriebsmitteln, Menschen und Produkten sowie die autonome Interaktion zwischen diesen Komponenten stellen wesentliche Merkmale dieser Entwicklung dar. Das übergeordnete Ziel besteht darin, die Effizienz von Fabriken zu steigern und wirtschaftliche Verbesserungen entlang der gesamten Wertschöpfungskette zu erzielen.Das Augenmerk dieser Arbeit liegt speziell auf dem Bereich der Produktion in der Industrie 4.0, wobei das CPS als treibende Kraft betrachtet wird. Dabei sollen die Chancen und Risiken für die betroffenen Mitarbeitergruppen beleuchtet und die Wirtschaftsethik im Kontext von CPS untersucht werden. Besonderes Augenmerk wird darauf gelegt, welche Konsequenzen sich daraus für ein sinnhaftes Management dieser Technologie ergeben.Der erste Abschnitt dieser Arbeit legt die Grundlagen für die weiteren Betrachtungen, indem die Begriffe CPS und Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) erläutert werden. In einem darauf folgenden Kapitel wird der Platz des Menschen in der Arbeitswelt von Morgen beleuchtet. Eine detaillierte Analyse der Folgen der CPS erfolgt dabei in den Unterkapiteln zu den Chancen und Risiken im Produktionsumfeld sowie dem sinnhaften Management dieser Technologien.Abschließend fasst ein Kapitel die gewonnenen Erkenntnisse aus den beiden Forschungsfragen zusammen, um ein abschließendes Fazit mit einem Ausblick zu präsentieren. Diese Arbeit verfolgt das Ziel, einen Beitrag zur umfassenden Analyse und Bewertung des CPS in der Industrie 4.0 zu leisten und dabei die Rolle des Menschen in dieser sich wandelnden Arbeitswelt kritisch zu reflektieren.

The Demand for Alternative Finance

Why do we use eighty-year-old metrics to understand today’s economy? The ways that statisticians and governments measure the economy were developed in the 1940s, when the urgent economic problems were entirely different from those of today. In The Measure of Progress, Diane Coyle argues that the framework underpinning today’s economic statistics is so outdated that it functions as a distorting lens, or even a set of blinkers. When policymakers rely on such an antiquated conceptual tool, how can they measure, understand, and respond with any precision to what is happening in today’s digital economy? Coyle makes the case for a new framework, one that takes into consideration current economic realities. Coyle explains why economic statistics matter. They are essential for guiding better economic policies; they involve questions of freedom, justice, life, and death. Governments use statistics that affect people’s lives in ways large and small. The metrics for economic growth were developed when a lack of physical rather than natural capital was the binding constraint on growth, intangible value was less important, and the pressing economic policy challenge was managing demand rather than supply. Today’s challenges are different. Growth in living standards in rich economies has slowed, despite remarkable innovation, particularly in digital technologies. As a result, politics is contentious and democracy strained. Coyle argues that to understand the current economy, we need different data collected in a different framework of categories and definitions, and she offers some suggestions about what this would entail. Only with a new approach to measurement will we be able to achieve the right kind of growth for the benefit of all.

Ziel ist es, das Lieferantenmanagement zu erläutern und dessen Vorteile für Handels- oder Produktionsunternehmen zu verdeutlichen. Zudem soll ein Überblick über die Chancen für mittelständische Unternehmen in Deutschland gestellt werden, welche Lieferantenmanagement betreiben. Diese Chancen beziehen sich auf die möglichen Erfolgsfaktoren des Unternehmens und auf die Wettbewerbsvorteile gegenüber der Konkurrenz, die sich durch die aktive Gestaltung des Lieferantenmanagements ergeben können. Zur Beantwortung der aufgeworfenen Forschungsfrage wird in dieser Arbeit wie folgt vorgegangen: Nach der Einleitung folgt eine umfassende Beschreibung des Begriffes: „Lieferantenmanagement,“ sowie eine Vorstellung der vielfältigen Aufgaben und der strategischen und operativen Ziele. Zudem wird der Prozess des Lieferantenmanagements ausführlich ausgearbeitet. Hierbei wird die Beschaffungsmarktforschung, die Lieferantenanalyse und Lieferantenbewertung sowie die Lieferantenverhandlung und Lieferantenauswahl näher beleuchtet. Zuletzt wird die Bedeutung dieser gesamtheitlichen Strategie in Bezug auf den Erfolg und auf die Wettbewerbsfähigkeit eines mittelständischen Unternehmens aufgezeigt. Ausgehend von den zentralen Ergebnissen der Analyse wird abschließend ein Fazit gezogen.

Why most Americans' finances improved during the worst economic contraction since the Great Depression-and the policy choices that made this possible In March 2020, economic and social life across the United States came to an abrupt halt as the country tried to slow the spread of COVID-19. In the worst economic contraction since the Great Depression, twenty-two million people lost their jobs between mid-March and mid-April of 2020. And yet somehow the finances of most Americans improved during the pandemic-savings went up, debts went down, and fewer people had trouble paying their bills. In The Pandemic Paradox, economist Scott Fulford explains this seeming contradiction, describing how the pandemic reshaped the American economy. As Americans grappled with remote work, "essential" work, and closed schools, three massive pandemic relief bills, starting with the CARES Act on March 27, 2020, managed to protect many of America's most vulnerable. Fulford draws from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau's "Making Ends Meet" surveys-which he helped design-to interweave macroeconomic trends in spending, saving, and debt with stories of individual Americans' economic lives during the pandemic. Housing means prosperity and security for some; poverty, precarity and sickness for others. More people live in private rented accommodation than ever before, and rents rise without apparent reason. Homes are smaller every year, and nearly 20 per cent of tenants live in hazardous conditions. Homelessness is at a new high. Yet the government’s only solution is to promote homeownership. Against Landlords shows that this crisis is not the product of happenstance or political incompetence. Government policy has intentionally split British citizens into homeowners and renters, two classes set on very different financial paths. In the UK, one out of every twenty-one adults is a landlord, and it is this group, and those who aspire to join it, represented by the political class. In his radical new interpretation of the housing crisis, lawyer Nick Bano explains how this environment set the conditions for the Grenfell Tower fire and how it means a life of anxiety for the nation’s renters. It is a problem that stretches far beyond London and one inherently racist in nature. Building more housing is not the solution.
