Das ESG-Reporting dient dazu, die Nachhaltigkeitsleistung eines Unternehmens zu dokumentieren und Interessengruppen über seine Aktivitäten in Bezug auf Umweltschutz (Environment), soziale Verantwortung (Social) und Unternehmensführung (Governance) zu informieren. IT-Tools spielen bei der Erstellung des ESG-Reportings eine wichtige Rolle. Sie können bei der effizienten Erfassung, Analyse und Berichterstattung von Nachhaltigkeitskennzahlen helfen. Darüber hinaus können die Unternehmen durch die Automatisierung und Integration von Datenquellen ESG-Daten in Echtzeit verfolgen und​ transparente Berichte erstellen. In diesem Buch werden die ESG-Berichtsanforderungen beschrieben und mögliche IT-Lösungen für die Erstellung des ESG-Reportings vorgestellt und bewertet.​

&lt;p&gt;When a person is not recognised as a citizen anywhere, they are typically referred to as ‘stateless’. This can give rise to challenges both for individuals and for the institutions that try to govern them. &lt;i&gt;Statelessness, governance, and the problem of citizenship&lt;/i&gt; breaks from tradition by relocating the ‘problem’ to be addressed from one of statelessness to one of citizenship. It problematises the governance of citizenship – and the use of citizenship as a governance tool – and traces the ‘problem of citizenship’ from global and regional governance mechanisms to national and even individual levels.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;With contributions from activists, affected persons, artists, lawyers, academics, and national and international policy experts, this volume rejects the idea that statelessness and stateless persons are a problem. It argues that the reality of statelessness helps to uncover a more fundamental challenge: the problem of citizenship.&lt;/p&gt;

Corporate governance stands upon several principles, raised from the Cadbury report, Principles of Corporate Governance, and Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002. It includes rights and equitable treatment of shareholders, interests of stakeholders, role and responsibilities of the board, integrity and ethical behavior, and disclosure and transparency. Disclosure and transparency are one of the principles of corporate governance that aims to inform the public of the roles and responsibilities of the board and management in order to provide stakeholders with a level of accountability. The Accountant's Role in Corporate Governance. Global, Unified. Transparency and Disclosure Criteria for Financial Reporting

Bachelorarbeit aus dem Jahr 2022 im Fachbereich BWL - Wirtschaftspolitik, Note: 2,5, Hochschule Bremen, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Gegenstand der Arbeit ist die Intransparenz in den Prozessen und Verträgen der Öffentlich-Privaten-Partnerschaft der Berliner Wasserbetriebe. Mithilfe einer Literaturrecherche wird unter Einbeziehung des (Good) Governance-Konzeptes und einer Einbettung in die Liberalisierung der Trinkwasserdebatte analysiert, wie wichtig Transparenz in einem ÖPP Prozess für die politische Legitimation selbiger ist und wie diese im Vorfeld von öffentlicher Seite aus verbessert werden kann.Die Arbeitshypothese besagt, dass eine erhöhte Transparenz bei Prozessen und Verträgen einer ÖPP in der Trinkwasserversorgung zu erhöhter politischer Legitimation der ÖPP führt. Da die Thematik gleichzeitig in eine Diskussion um eine Verwaltungsreform eingebettet ist, wird diese ebenfalls aufgegriffen.Governance beschreibt letztlich eine neuartige Form des Steuerns von Staatsseite aus. Diese neuartige Steuerungsform kann aus gewisser Perspektive als verwaltungspolitisches Reformkonzept betrachtet werden. Damit hat es das „New-Public-Management“ abgelöst, welches eine Managementperspektive hatte. Governance als Reformkonzept wird in der Arbeit aufgegriffen und mit den allgemeinen Liberalisierungstrends in der Wasserversorgung sowie dem Fallbeispiel verbunden. Daraufhin erfolgt ein Fazit, welches herausstellt, dass es um das richtige Maß an Transparenz geht und sich bei ÖPP Projekten ein generelles Informationsinteresse der Allgemeinheit und Betriebsgeheimnisse der beteiligten AkteurInnen gegenüberstehen. ParlamentarierInnen haben dann die Aufgabe, in solchen Fällen zu moderieren und abzuwägen, welches Maß an Transparenz für den jeweils vorliegenden Fall das passendste wäre.

A Recipe for Corporate Success

AKAD Fachhochschule Stuttgart, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Ziel dieser Arbeit ist die Erarbeitung einer kritischen Stellungnahme zu der Thematik des Homeoffice und Mobileoffice im Zuge der Corona-Pandemie aus der Perspektive der Corporate Governance.Durch die Corona-Pandemie haben sich die Anforderungen an das Arbeiten weltweit stark verändert. Durch die Einschränkungen der persönlichen Kontakte und die damit einhergehende soziale Distanzierung müssen auch Unternehmen Maßnahmen ergreifen, um die Mitarbeiter zu schützen und die Ansteckungen mit dem Virus in der Gesellschaft so gering wie möglich zu halten. Bei einer Befragung unter Angestellten in ganz Deutschland im März 2020 zeigte sich, dass rund 60% in gesundheitsgefährdenden Situationen wie der Corona-Pandemie gerne im Homeoffice arbeiten würden. Außerdem können seitens der Unternehmen mehr Tätigkeiten im Homeoffice verrichtet werden, als von vielen bisher angenommen.In Deutschland wird in der am 27. Januar 2021 in Kraft getretenen Corona-Arbeitsschutzverordnung festgelegt, dass Arbeitgeber den Arbeitnehmern das Arbeiten im Homeoffice ermöglichen müssen, sofern keine dringenden betrieblichen Gründe diesem entgegenstehen. Es ist davon auszugehen, dass es sich bei dem Thema Homeoffice und Mobileoffice nicht um einen Trend handelt, der nach der Corona-Pandemie wieder verschwindet, sondern, dass das Arbeiten im Büro auch in Zukunft vermehrt durch das Arbeiten von zu Hause ersetzt werden wird.

To further establish a basic managerial guide on how to approach the possible implementation of a MSP into an own organization or as an independent start-up, an introduction to the fundamental mechanics of platforms is given. The guide holds a major focus on the challenges that are inherent to the technology, concept, and structure of MSPs to raise the awareness of managers early on and give a balanced overview of the topic at hand. This term paper is written for the seminar Digital Transformation in Organizations and is therefore limited to a theoretical nature in form of a literature review and will not engage in any form of empirical study. Regarding the above mentioned successful and failed platform businesses, the guiding question can be derived: What are the strategic challenges managers need to consider when they want to launch their own successful MSP? Relating to the considerable effort that is linked to these strategic challenges, each chapter will give a short overview of what managers should focus on when they want to tackle this specific problem. The topic of digital transformation attracts more and more businesses, mostly because they want  to ensure their viability in now rapidly changing environments. Others seek to gain an edge over  their competitors by utilizing new technologies and structures. Multi-sided platforms fulfill both criteria and their ever-growing success in the recent decade led to many all-out hunts for the next  big platform. With seven out of ten of the most valuable businesses worldwide utilizing multi-sided  platforms, many strategically acting managers seek to better understand the topic before trying to  implement it as any successful multi-sided platform is accompanied by numerous failures. This  paper contributes by uniting fundamental knowledge and new findings to create an easy-to-read  handbook about the most essential features of multi-sided platforms. In the main part, the  challenges that are inherent to the platform technology are analyzed. A focus lays on creating  condensed guidelines that managers should consider when facing specific problems.
