Impact of Capital Structure on Banking Performance. Case Study of Pakistan

Master's Thesis from the year 2020 in the subject Economics - Job market economics, grade: 5.2 out of 6 GPA, , course: International Management, language: English, abstract: This study is to explore the impact of TVET on the labour market and sustainable development of Myanmar. Although the research is the generalized view, the target population of this research became the employees working at a garment industry in rural area. A sample of 200 employees working at Hakers Enterprise (Myanmar) Co. Ltd in Pathein Industrial Zone was selected as the respondents of the study with the simple random sampling procedure. The study is in-depth learning of the life of the blue-collar employees in the garment industry and their expectations on TVET training programs. Based on the findings of their expectation and belief, the TVET training programs can be drawn. The descriptive method is used to present the data findings of the research through frequency data. SPSS data analysis software was used to analyze the data collected from the respondents. Most of the respondents of this study had lower income and lower education and strong desire to attend the TVET training programs for their career development. They have a strong belief of TVET programs that they can change the life of Myanmar. This research focus is limited and not to contribute the overall garment sector. The future researcher may focus on the study to explore the life and expectation of white-collar employees. The Myanmar Government can infer the finding of this research in the projects of sustainable development of Myanmar, especially in the education and career development projects.

The Impact of TVET on the Labor Market and Sustainable Development of Myanmar

Master's Thesis from the year 2024 in the subject Business economics - Offline Marketing and Online Marketing, grade: 66, University of Plymouth (Plymouth Business School), course: Business managemnet, language: English, abstract: This study was aimed at examining the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on digital marketing of SMEs in Nigeria. The respondents of this study were SMEs owners in Lagos State, Nigeria. Quantitative and qualitative data was collected with the aid of questionnaire and interview section respectively. Qualitative data was analyzed with thematic analysis while the quantitative data was analyzed with correlation and regression to test the hypothesis generated. This study revealed that the use of AI by SMEs in Nigeria had a positive impact on digital marketing and sales performance. It also identified the major challenge associated with the application of AI in the digital marketing initiatives of Nigerian SMEs to be the lack of AI professionals to facilitate the integration of AI into their digital marketing initiatives.

Plötzlich standen Fragen im Raum, die man bis dahin für undenkbar hielt: Was passiert, wenn eine Bank pleitegeht? Wer schützt unsere Ersparnisse? Und wie kann ein Kollaps des Finanzsystems verhindert werden? 

Diese fundierte Analyse gibt spannende Einblicke in die Mechanismen der Finanzmarktstabilisierung bei Bankeninsolvenzen – verständlich, aktuell und kritisch. Anhand des Finanzmarktstabilisierungsgesetzes (FMStG) und des Sonderfonds Finanzmarktstabilisierung (SoFFin) wird gezeigt, wie der Staat in Krisensituationen eingreift, um die Zahlungsfähigkeit systemrelevanter Banken zu sichern. Ob durch staatliche Garantien, Rekapitalisierungen oder die Schaffung von Bad Banks: Die Maßnahmen zur Rettung taumelnder Kreditinstitute sind vielfältig – und nicht unumstritten. 

Auch das Zusammenspiel aus Insolvenzrecht, Stakeholder-Theorie und politischer Verantwortung wird beleuchtet. Die Autorin zeigt auf, wie Banken im Spannungsfeld zwischen freiem Markt und staatlicher Regulierung agieren – und wie schnell ein Vertrauensverlust zum Dominoeffekt werden kann. Darüber hinaus wird die Verstaatlichung als Ultima Ratio analysiert: Ist sie ein notwendiges Übel oder ein gefährlicher Präzedenzfall? 

Ein besonderer Fokus liegt auf dem Jahr 2020 und den Parallelen zur COVID-19-Pandemie. Die wirtschaftlichen Folgen der Pandemie lassen Erinnerungen an die Finanzkrise wachwerden – mit der drohenden Insolvenzwelle vor Augen wird deutlich, wie wichtig ein stabiles rechtliches und wirtschaftliches Fundament ist. 

Ein Muss für alle, die sich für Wirtschaft, Recht und Politik interessieren – und verstehen möchten, wie viel Markt ein System verkraftet, bevor der Staat eingreifen muss.
