Also a Contribution to the Delineation of Sexual Self-Determination': The thesis examines the criminal offence of sexual harassment under Section 184i(1) of the German Criminal Code (StGB). It explores the concept of sexual harassment from both legal and societal perspectives and offers a critical analysis of the legislative process that led to the provision's adoption. The work further questions prevailing approaches to the protected legal interest of sexual self-determination. Particular attention is paid to the constituent elements of the offence, as well as to existing gaps in protection and inconsistencies in legal evaluation. The study concludes by proposing a reform and argues that the current provision fails to achieve its intended objectives.
