'Sponsoring by Companies. Criminal Law Risks and Criminal Compliance': The thesis examines criminal law risks associated with sponsoring and ways for companies to address them. To this end, it develops criminal law assessment models for breach of trust (§ 266 German Criminal Code) and commercial corruption (§ 299 German Criminal Code), oriented toward the specific characteristics of sponsoring. It also explains preventive and repressive measures of criminal law-related compliance in sponsoring companies in relation to these assessment models.
