Although innovation is a necessity for growth, its journey is complex, uncertain and full of failures. This book takes a holistic approach to address innovation practices in different organizations and in different parts of the world. It highlights the interplay between the markets, technology, and the organization, while outlining the unique skill set required to manage innovation and innovation processes.

Including an analytical review of the current literature and theories, this book emphasizes practical, implementable, evidence-based tools and resources to manage innovation at all types of organizations, regardless of type, sector or size. The emphasis is on established entities, yet the guidelines shared in the book will also be applicable to both temporary organizations and start-ups in all or in part. It will be of interest to students and academics of strategic management and innovation strategy, as well as practitioners seeking an advanced understanding of innovation tools and strategy.

 

Karim Sai¿d is Associate Professor at the University of Versailles Saint Quentin en Yvelines/University Paris Saclay and a PhD supervisor and researcher at the Larequoi Research Center for Management. He is the author of many publications in the field of Strategic management  and change management. He currently works as Scientific and Academic attaché at the French Embassy in Egypt.

Duha AlSanad is an Innovation Champion at Saudi Aramco. She oversees the innovation program in the IT Department and is responsible for building strategies to cultivate innovation.  She has a PhD in the Management of Innovation from the Arabian Gulf University in Bahrain and has published journal articles and conference papers on innovation management.

Soufiane Kherrazi is an Assistant Professor of Strategic Innovation Management at CESI Engineering School in France and a researcher at the LINEACT Research & Innovation Laboratory. His research explores various forms of innovation (technological, collaborative, social, legal) and their impact on organizational change. He is also an affiliated researcher at the EDHEC Augmented Law Institute in France.
