'Police Preventive Measures within the Legal Regulatory System. A Study of Powers to Act Below the Threshold of a Concrete Danger, with Particular Consideration of the ¿Imminent Danger¿ Concept': The study examines the historical development and structural design of police preventive measures, their constitutional foundations, and the limits of the corresponding powers to act. It combines a comprehensive historical analysis of German police legislation - from the earliest regulatory frameworks to the present day - with the relevant jurisprudence of the Federal Constitutional Court. Particular emphasis is placed on assessing the category of 'imminent danger' as applied in Bavaria.
