'Resistance as a Privilege': Civil disobedience is back in the spotlight and is being widely discussed in political theory. However, the topic has been neglected in legal literature to date. Not least, there has been a lack of differentiated constitutional analysis that distinguishes between the various forms of civil disobedience and separately examines the role of democracy and order as the main determinants of the legal debate. This book sets out to do just that.
