Akademische Arbeit aus dem Jahr 2022 im Fachbereich BWL - Allgemeines, Note: 50, AFUM Akademie für Unternehmensmanagement GmbH, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die folgende Arbeit behandelt die Auswirkungen von COVID-19 auf die deutsche Wirtschaft. Durch die Corona-Pandemie wurde vieles verändert, beispielsweise in der Wirtschaft und in der Arbeitswelt. Unternehmen mussten sich neuen Herausforderungen stellen und die Corona Pandemie berücksichtigen, um verschiedene Faktoren zu beachten, wie den Umschwung auf mehr und mehr Kurzarbeit und die Umstellung auf ein Homeoffice für viele Mitarbeiter. Dabei musste so weit wie möglich weiterhin auf ein profitables Geschäft hingearbeitet werden, möglichst keine Verluste zu verzeichnen. Zunächst werden die Faktoren und Veränderungen der deutschen Wirtschaft aufgearbeitet, wie die Veränderung der Erwerbstätigenzahlen.Danach werden Faktoren wie die Massentauglichkeit des Homeoffice dargestellt und aufgezeigt, ob sich diese Änderung vom Büro zur Arbeit im Homeoffice langfristig durchsetzt oder nicht. Weiterhin werden die Punkte Kurzarbeit und Arbeitslosigkeit in der Pandemie behandelt. Es wird aufgezeigt, ob und wie sehr Arbeiter von Arbeitslosigkeit und Kurzarbeit in der Zeit der Corona-Pandemie betroffen waren. Außerdem wurden seit dem letzten Jahr vermehrt Geschäfte geschlossen, da diese Insolvenz beantragen mussten, wie die Pandemie dies beeinflusst hat, wird ebenfalls herausgearbeitet. Abschließend folgen eine Zusammenfassung und ein Fazit.Die Punkte Home-Office, Kurzarbeit, Insolvenz, Arbeitslosigkeit durch die Pandemie und Veränderung des Arbeitslebens werden durch verschiedene wissenschaftliche Artikel, aktuelle Statistiken des Statistischen Bundesamtes und Lektüren untersucht, um durch verschiedene Quellen bestmögliche und diversifizierte Erkenntnisse zu ziehen.

Essay from the year 2023 in the subject Leadership and Human Resources - Leadership, , language: English, abstract: The significance of human resource (HR) planning can never be ignored within the organizational context due to its active role in directing the workforce towards organizational objectives. It involves the planning, leading, and management of employees with varying strategies and principles to ensure that the business operations are streamlined. Additionally, HR planning also holds a critical position in getting through the different transitions throughout the business cycle based on the internal and external environment of an organization. One major challenge from the external environment that has altered business-as-usual practices across the globe is the COVID-19 pandemic. Ever since its inception in 2019, the pandemic has rendered businesses inoperable due to its highly contagious nature. While the rest of the world has largely been busy in combating the disease itself through complete or partial lockdowns, the corporate world has been plagued with the difficulties of sustaining their usual business practices. The most noteworthy implications of COVID-19 in the business context were observed in their HR management and planning functions that aimed to alter workforce planning through strategies that minimize the spread of infections and maximize business operations.

Diese Hausarbeit untersucht die Auswirkungen der Pandemie auf die Motivation in privater und beruflicher Hinsicht. Im zweiten Kapitel wird ein theoretischer Hintergrund zur Motivation gelegt, wobei verschiedene Begrifflichkeiten abgegrenzt und die Herausforderungen der Motivationsfindung beleuchtet werden. Eine detaillierte Betrachtung der Geschichte und Ausbreitung der Pandemie erfolgt ebenfalls. Im dritten Kapitel wird eine empirische Untersuchung zur Arbeitsmotivation durchgeführt, wobei mithilfe halbstandardisierter Interviews kritisch reflektiert wird. Eine zufällig ausgewählte Person wird zu diesem Zweck zu verschiedenen Fragen rund um das Thema befragt. Die Ergebnisse bieten Einblicke in die Motivationslage während der Pandemie und geben Impulse für weitere Forschung auf diesem Gebiet.

Un interesante análisis de la evolución de los impuestos en España, desde la instauración de la democracia hasta hoy, contada a través de los principales hitos que han marcado su desarrollo, tanto desde el punto de vista de las reformas aprobadas como de su aplicación, que aborda también los escándalos que han puesto en riesgo el principio de generalidad establecido por nuestra Constitución, y que se sintetiza en el popular eslogan de «Hacienda somos todos». La amnistía fiscal aprobada por el Gobierno del Partido Popular en 2012 que resultó inconstitucional, la benevolencia del derecho penal con los grandes defraudadores y la disociación fiscal de las personas que, para eludir en buena parte el pago de sus impuestos, son al mismo tiempo sociedades, constituyen algunas de las cuestiones tratadas en este importante trabajo de los técnicos del Ministerio de Hacienda Carlos Cruzado y José María Mollinedo. Y también el papel «no jugado» por la Agencia Tributaria ante la lista Falciani, de contribuyentes que ocultaban patrimonio y rentas en el banco HSBC de Ginebra, y los escándalos fiscales de Juan Carlos I, junto a otras situaciones que podrían revelar una doble vara de medir. Los autores muestran una mirada crítica del déficit de justicia fiscal y del discurso demonizador de los tributos, pero a la vez esperanzada como consecuencia de los cambios a nivel global que se empiezan a percibir respecto de la necesidad de combatir el aumento de las desigualdades, a través de los impuestos, con la repercusión política, social y económica que conlleva.

&lt;p&gt;Crises, in the past, have been cyclical events in economic history. However, we are currently experiencing an acceleration of these cycles with shorter time span in-between major events. In a period of 20 years, from 2001 to 2021, we have lived three global major crisis events: The Twin Tower Attack on September 11th, 2001, the Financial Crash in 2008, and the Covid-19 pandemic from 2020.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;In the first edition of this book, the authors explained the main decision-making patterns of behavior (i.e. short termism, centralization, and parochialism) that characterized the management processes of Boards of Directors during the financial crash. Now, in this revised and updated second edition, the authors explore the main commonalities and differences between decision making at the top during the previous financial crisis and during the most recent Covid 19 global pandemic, as well as during the inception of the war in Ukraine. In doing so they ask, is this a new crisis or just the “&lt;em&gt;new normal&lt;/em&gt;” that businesses and organizations need to face after major catastrophic events?&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;By first reassessing the very meaning of the word ‘crisis,’ the authors explore the relationship between frequent crises, emergency cabinets and socially widespread fear as determinants of a “new normal” rather than as the extraordinary state of our societies. In this sense, the authors identify more nuanced and updated consequences of short termism, centralization and parochialism that could shape the changes after the current crisis and the approach to next crisis to come&lt;/p&gt;
