La marca Mercado Libre se convirtió, en los últimos años, en el faro del liberalismo vernáculo, una suerte de enclave de éxito global en un continente empobrecido. Un sinónimo de progreso primermundista, modernidad, eficacia privada, agilidad, innovación, avance tecnológico ilimitado. Algo así como la "nueva última oportunidad" para que la añorada burguesía schumpeteriana, devenida en unicornios y starts ups pueda finalmente hacer pie en estas latitudes periféricas gracias a la magia de la meritocracia digital. Este libro analiza el "fenómeno Meli" en varias de las múltiples capas de sentido que su protagonismo social actual ha abierto a la discusión.Centralmente, su filosofía empresarial, leída en clave de un neoliberalismo tecnoprogresista encarnado en una nueva "raza" empresarial de la que Marcos Galperin es la mejor personificación y que opera relegitimando la imagen hiperdevaluada del empresariado argentino, intentando infundirle un brillo rejuvenecedor al capitalismo local. Como piedra nodal, el discurso del emprendedurismo −del que Mercado Libre es estandarte− como gran construcción simbólica de raigambre corporativa que devino en una suerte de ideología oficial de la época. Una operación discursiva que intenta transmutar el sufrimiento que produce la vivencia cotidiana de la precariedad en adrenalina por el riesgo, transformando el desamparo por una supuesta oportunidad individual. Esta reivindicación del mérito en la figura de un sujeto hiperindividualizado, ilusoriamente libre de condicionamientos sociales, motivado por una idea difusa de libertad e hiperproductividad delimita también sesgos de género y construcción de patrones de masculinidad/femineidad en estos "trabajos del futuro" de los que nos ocupamos especialmente. Como gran telón de fondo aparece la construcción de los nuevos sentidos y formas del trabajo, y la necesaria imbricación entre digitalización y precariedad como base material para el desarrollo de este nuevo modelo de negocios que vino a aggionar, con su espíritu tecnoliberal-digital, a un neoliberalismo tardío francamente en decadencia.

Hierfür werden die Charakteristika einer Distressed M&amp;A-Transaktion geschildert. Es folgt eine Erläuterung der für diese Art von Transaktion spezifischen Merkmale. Eingegangen wird auf die wirtschaftliche Lage des zu erwerbenden Unternehmens, das zur Verfügung stehende Zeitfenster gefolgt von dem Handlungsdruck.Nach der Ermittlung der Grundlagen des Distressed M&amp;A folgt eine Erläuterung der weiteren Attribute der Fragestellung der Arbeit. Hierfür werden zunächst die Merkmale und Folgen der Begehung eines Share Deals aufgezeigt, um anschließend der gleich mit den strategischen Investoren zu verfahren. Schlussendlich erfolgt eine Darstellung der aktuellen Wirtschaftslage und der Veränderungen innerhalb dieser bedingt durch die Pandemie. In Folge der Ergebnisse aus dem zweiten Kapitel werden im anschließenden Kapitel die Chancen und Risiken, welche die Pandemie in Bezug auf die Fragestellung aufwirft, erörtert.Abschließend wird die Arbeit durch ein Fazit beendet.

These questions were derived as the primary reasons for this thesis and were motivated due to the current global health and social crisis, the economic disruptions caused by it all over the world, the need to better understand the effects of it on businesses and the need to investigate the best ways to be able to better cope with future disruptions. Main question: How can export-oriented industrial SMEs build resilience in times of the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond? Sub question 1: How has the COVID-19 pandemic affected the global economy in the context of international trade? Sub question 2: What have been the main challenges faced by B2B export-oriented SMEs during the COVID-19 pandemic? Owing to the new and emerging field of business research that the COVID-19 pandemic has created, research has been developing on the topic. Researchers have primarily concentrated on specific issues such as understanding the impacts of the pandemic on the supply chain, import and export flows and trade policies. Often lacking a practical-oriented application of findings for Managers and their organizations and a focus on the challenges faced by export-oriented Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs).  The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to examine the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on international business operations and especially in Business to Business international sales and marketing focusing first and foremost on SMEs, and to provide a concise overview concerning the topic of international trade disruptions during the pandemic as well as strategies and better practices for responding to and mitigating these risks and threats.

Existe un mandamiento divino que advierte expresamente… "no mentirás". Quizás este no sea el peor pecado de la economía, pero Mira y Rovner demuestran que tiene un rol nada trivial en el sistema capitalista. Homo Falsus hace todo lo posible para convencer al lector de que en la práctica el Homo œconomicus miente, falsea y disimula, y que más que meras tentaciones, estas actitudes constituyen el aceite que lubrica los engranajes de la economía. Los economistas han sido rotulados por muchos como expertos mentirosos, pero paradójicamente estos profesionales no han incluido en sus teorías, como lo hacen estos dos autores, a la mentira como un componente necesario (aunque no suficiente) del funcionamiento del sistema. En un mundo económico falsus, este libro no escapa a su propia hipótesis, e invita al lector a distinguir cuáles de sus páginas son una teoría admisible, y cuáles no son más que otro discreto engaño.

Akademische Arbeit aus dem Jahr 2022 im Fachbereich BWL - Allgemeines, Note: 50, AFUM Akademie für Unternehmensmanagement GmbH, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die folgende Arbeit behandelt die Auswirkungen von COVID-19 auf die deutsche Wirtschaft. Durch die Corona-Pandemie wurde vieles verändert, beispielsweise in der Wirtschaft und in der Arbeitswelt. Unternehmen mussten sich neuen Herausforderungen stellen und die Corona Pandemie berücksichtigen, um verschiedene Faktoren zu beachten, wie den Umschwung auf mehr und mehr Kurzarbeit und die Umstellung auf ein Homeoffice für viele Mitarbeiter. Dabei musste so weit wie möglich weiterhin auf ein profitables Geschäft hingearbeitet werden, möglichst keine Verluste zu verzeichnen. Zunächst werden die Faktoren und Veränderungen der deutschen Wirtschaft aufgearbeitet, wie die Veränderung der Erwerbstätigenzahlen.Danach werden Faktoren wie die Massentauglichkeit des Homeoffice dargestellt und aufgezeigt, ob sich diese Änderung vom Büro zur Arbeit im Homeoffice langfristig durchsetzt oder nicht. Weiterhin werden die Punkte Kurzarbeit und Arbeitslosigkeit in der Pandemie behandelt. Es wird aufgezeigt, ob und wie sehr Arbeiter von Arbeitslosigkeit und Kurzarbeit in der Zeit der Corona-Pandemie betroffen waren. Außerdem wurden seit dem letzten Jahr vermehrt Geschäfte geschlossen, da diese Insolvenz beantragen mussten, wie die Pandemie dies beeinflusst hat, wird ebenfalls herausgearbeitet. Abschließend folgen eine Zusammenfassung und ein Fazit.Die Punkte Home-Office, Kurzarbeit, Insolvenz, Arbeitslosigkeit durch die Pandemie und Veränderung des Arbeitslebens werden durch verschiedene wissenschaftliche Artikel, aktuelle Statistiken des Statistischen Bundesamtes und Lektüren untersucht, um durch verschiedene Quellen bestmögliche und diversifizierte Erkenntnisse zu ziehen.

This book explores the effects of covid-19 crisis on cities and urban areas and proposes approaches and solutions to invert the pandemic's negative impact. The covid-19 crisis has had significant impacts on public health, on the everyday lives of millions of people, and on the use of urban spaces at all levels. All over the world, cities have been at the forefront of a crisis that have worsened socio-spatial inequalities between regions and inside urban areas. The book examines three aspects of the connection between pandemic and urban issues: the relevance of spatial and territorial variables in the explanation of pandemic dynamics and consequences in fragile cities; the assumption of radical uncertainty as the conceptual framework for a new approach to urban planning, in a phase of raise of public investments; and the design of urban policies aimed at facing the material and symbolic effects of pandemic on the practices of use of spaces and places, in a context characterized by a plurality of populations and forms of life.
