It ensures that a company is able to plan ahead to ensure the business’ objectives are achieved. This is the major underpinning of strategic human resource management, which is a business concept that seeks to align the objectives of the business with those of the employees. This paper therefore was an exploration of Midea Group Company and how it utilizes strategic human resource management (SHRM) to ensure continued success. The role of SHRM was analyzed as well as the important business factors that influence human resource planning. SHRM also makes use of the company structure and culture to ensure that employees understand their obligation at the company, and how they can contribute to the greater success of the business. The culture at Midea Group was also analyzed to get an insight as to how it affects the human resource management decisions.
