'The Transfer of Public-Law Personnel Authorizations. A Conflict Between Entrepreneurial (Succession) Freedom and Risk Prevention': A large majority of companies hold public-law approvals, whose continuity is crucial in the context of business succession. So far, there is no uniform regulation, creating significant uncertainty in practice. This study examines the transferability of personal approvals, demonstrates that the assumption of their non-transferability is untenable, and develops criteria as well as a legal proposal for a secure and business-friendly succession.
