Hierbei bildet die Frage nach dem arbeitsrechtlichen Status der Vertragsspieler im Sinne des § 8 Nr. 2 DFB-SpO den ersten Schwerpunkt der Untersuchung. Daneben wird die Anwendbarkeit der Ehrenamtsklausel des § 22 Abs. 3 MiLoG analysiert. Der zweite Untersuchungsschwerpunkt liegt auf der Frage nach einer rechtssicheren Lösung zum Thema Mindestlohn. Im Zuge dessen wird unter Zuhilfenahme der Grundsätze der juristischen Methodenlehre zunächst hinterfragt, ob die Problematik im Wege gesetzesimmanenter Rechtsfortbildung gelöst werden kann.
