        &lt;p&gt;Arbeitsrechtliche Beziehungen werden sehr stark von der Europäischen Integration geprägt. Das Buch macht die Lesenden der Rechts-, Wirtschafts- und Politikwissenschaften an Universitäten und Fachhochschulen mit dem Europäischen Arbeitsrecht vertraut und geht dabei auch auf das Europäische Arbeitsrecht in rechtsvergleichender und völkerrechtlicher Perspektive ein. Für die 4. Auflage nach mehr als 15 Jahren wurde das Standardwerk zum Europäischen Arbeitsrecht umfassend überarbeitet und neu strukturiert. Der erste Teil enthält nun u.a. eine umfassende Einführung in völkerrechtliche und rechtsvergleichende Perspektiven auf das Europäische Arbeitsrecht, gefolgt von einem EU-rechtlichen Grundlagenteil.         &lt;p&gt;Die vorliegende Arbeit widmet sich rechtsvergleichend der Frage, wie in Gesellschaftsanteile im Wege der Rechtsnachfolge von Todes wegen weitergegeben werden. Sie leistet einen Beitrag zum besseren Verständnis der dogmatischen und funktionalen Grundlagen des deutschen und des französischen Rechts. Zu diesem Zweck werden die die beiden Rechtsordnungen prägenden Leitgedanken herausgearbeitet und miteinander in Beziehung gesetzt. Damit schafft sie eine wichtige Basis für ein tieferes Verständnis des Internationalen Privatrechts, speziell der Europäischen Erbrechtsverordnung und ihrer Abgrenzung zum Internationalen Gesellschaftsrecht.         &lt;p&gt;Strategische Prozessführung zum Umweltschutz hat Tradition in den USA und in Indien. Wie offen sind diese zwei Common-Law-Rechtsordnungen für das Instrument der Klimaschutzklagen? In den USA werden diese trotz hoher rechtlicher Hürden in großer Zahl mit bisher überschaubarem Erfolg geführt. In Indien dagegen gibt es erst wenige Verfahren trotz nahezu idealer rechtlicher Rahmenbedingungen. Der Vergleich zeigt, welche Merkmale der Rechtsordnungen – darunter insbesondere das jeweilige Gewaltenteilungsgefüge – die Justiziabiliät des Klimawandels beeinflussen.     Supreme Court Justices frequently justify their opinions in terms of the traditions and customs of a community. Yet, the rights and interests of entities that fit neither with the state nor the individual are treated as fluid and subjective, often existing without clarity in the current legal framework. &lt;i&gt;The Rights of Groups&lt;/i&gt; focuses on a series of specific examples to argue that a more refined concept of culture than has been employed by American courts could offer better ways to analyze a broad range of cases that employ the notion of community.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;
    Through an original reading of the Ninth Amendment, Lawrence Rosen illustrates how a constitutional consideration for group protections might be applied to decisions arising before the Supreme Court, including the decision to overturn &lt;i&gt;Roe v. Wade&lt;/i&gt;.
