'Current Prospects of a European Social Union - with References to Social Security Law': This thesis is devoted to the question of whether the European forms a 'European Social Union' and what conditions must be met in order to achieve it. In addition to an overview of national social security systems and the analysis of the social acquis of EU law, the thesis focuses on the analysis of the concept of the 'European Social Union' and the two-stage development process based on references to social security law.
