Technological advancements, consumer behaviour shifts, and marketing landscape change drive it.Brand management is the process of strategizing, developing, and overseeing the various elements that contribute to creating, maintaining, and enhancing a brand's identity, perception, and value in the market. It involves actively managing and shaping how a brand is perceived by consumers, stakeholders, and the public.The primary goal of brand management is to establish a solid and favourable brand image, build brand equity, and foster customer loyalty. It encompasses various activities and re-sponsibilities. Companies develop a clear brand strategy that defines the brand's purpose, values, positioning, target audience, and unique selling proposition. This strategy serves as a foundation for all brand-related decisions and activities. It creates and manages the brand's visual and verbal elements, including the logo, tagline, colour palette, typography, and brand voice. Consistency in these elements helps establish brand recognition and differentiation.

In diesem Zusammenhang stellt sich die Frage, welche Schlüsselkompetenzen und Handlungsempfehlungen für Unternehmen relevant sind, um eine erfolgreiche Corporate Communication umzusetzen. Besonders diese Frage ist für Unternehmen von großer Bedeutung, da eine effektive Mitarbeiterbindung und -motivation nicht nur zur Steigerung der Arbeitsleistung und Produktivität beiträgt, sondern im nächsten Schritt die Fluktuation der Mitarbeiter verringert sowie die Loyalität dieser zum Arbeitgeber erhöht.  Neben den theoretischen Grundlagen zur Corporate Communication, wie etwa dessen Ziele und Funktionen, wird innerhalb dieser Arbeit ebenfalls analysiert, wie CC als Instrument zur Mitarbeitergewinnung, -bindung und -motivation eingesetzt werden kann. Zudem wird, zur Steigerung des Praxisbezugs, ein Beispiel aus der Unternehmenspraxis herangezogen. Ziel dieser Ausarbeitung ist es, anwendungsorientierte Empfehlungen zu erarbeiten, welche Unternehmen bei der Umsetzung einer erfolgreichen Corporate Communication unterstützen.   Corporate Communication ist eine der wichtigsten Funktionen moderner Unternehmen, da diese zur effektiven internen und externen Kommunikation sowie schlussendlich zum Erfolg des Unternehmens beiträgt. Eine langfristige und gut durchdachte Unternehmenskommunikation ist im aktuellen War for Talents, insbesondere bei der Mitarbeitergewinnung, -bindung und -motivation von hoher Relevanz.
