There is a link between the financial development and a real growth of economies. Financial development in combination with a growth in banking stimulates the entrepreneur’s action, and thus transfers resources from the traditional sector to the modern sector. This paper is divided into two sections. Section A is entitled ‘Monetary Economics’, and covers the following topics: Money in the macro economy, demand for money, supply for money, money and inflation, central banking and monetary policy, international financial institutions and policy, monetary market, and the Hansen Hickisian IS-LM curve analysis. Section B covers the topics of public revenue, tax burden, and incidence of taxes, classification and choices of taxes, public debt, public expenditure and public budget.

Ce livre comporte quatre parties: la première est un survol de l'histoire de l'assurance-vie en Suisse, la deuxième un aperçu des bases légales et de la technique d'assurance, la troisième une présentation de la fiscalité des assurances-vie et la quatrième, la plus importante, un recueil d'exemples pratiques.

Dans cette dernière partie, les auteurs proposent des solutions et expliquent les aspects techniques de divers produits, ainsi que leur imposition au preneur d'assurance et aux bénéficiaires. Les auteurs ne prétendent pas donner l'unique solution possible: dans le domaine de l'assurance-vie, il existe souvant plusieurs variantes dans chaque cas.

Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2010 im Fachbereich VWL - Sonstiges, Note: 2,0, Christian-Albrechts-Universität Kiel (Institut für Volkswirtschaftslehre), Veranstaltung: Resource Economics, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Das am 11.12.1997 beschlossene Zusatzprotokoll zur Ausgestaltung der Klima-Rahmenkonvention der UN verpflichtet die Staaten der EU zur Reduzierung der Treibhausgase in Phase II von 2008-2012 um durchschnittlich 8% (Basisjahr 1990). Erreicht wird dieses Ziel durch die Zuteilung von Emissionsrechten im European Union Emission Trading System (Abk.: „EU ETS“). Dabei werden Emissionsberechtigungen (European Union Allowance Unit, Abk. EUA) an Emittenten aus den Industriebereichen Eisen- und Stahlverhüttung, Ko-kereien, Raffinerien, Zement- und Kalkherstellung, Glas-, Keramik- und Ziegel-industrie, sowie Papier- und Zelluloseproduktion verteilt. Sie berechtigen zur Ex-mittierung von einer Tonne Kohlendioxid (ca. 0,27 Tonnen Kohlenstoff). Dabei werden durchschnittlich weniger Rechte zugeteilt, als benötigt werden. Die Idee ist, dass CO2 Reduzierungsmaßnahmen durchgeführt werden, sobald der Aufwand geringer ist, als der erwartete Emissionspreis. Mit den Emissionszertifikaten wurde ein weiteres, knappes Gut eingeführt, dass als Produktionsfaktor bei der Herstellung von Produkten eingesetzt oder weiter-verkauft werden kann. Da allerdings für die Phase II (2008-2012) deutlich mehr Emissionsrechte ausge-geben wurden, als benötigt (Böhringer et al. 2008, S. 306), ist die Knappheit des Gutes in Frage zu stellen. Böhringer et al. (S.301 ff.) bezeichnen dies als Ineffi-zienz. Um Knappheit („Effizienz“) herzustellen, wird die Einführung einer natio-nalen Emissionssteuer diskutiert. Diese sorge zusätzlich für einen Anreiz Emis-sionen einzusparen (Vgl. insb. auch Anhang 1). Böhringer et al. (2008, S.301) stellen darauf aufbauend die Frage, ob die Einfüh-rung einer zusätzlichen, nationalen Emissionssteuer die Effizienz herzustellen vermag, sowie Umweltverschmutzung vermeiden kann

&lt;p&gt;This book provides a comprehensive overview of the implications of tax avoidance for a firm’s capital structure, highlighting the key role played by free cash flow and agency conflicts. First, the book provides an outline of the theories and empirical evidence concerning the role of taxes in the Theory of Capital Structure. It reviews the studies investigating the relationship between agency conflicts and capital structure. The book explores the role of free cash flow and agency conflicts in the relationship between tax avoidance and capital structure. In the final section, the results of an empirical investigation conducted on a sample of U.S. public firms are also presented. The empirical research examines whether and how tax avoidance is associated with debt covenant violation across the stages of the corporate life cycle. Specifically, the research uses the concept of the corporate life cycle stage to analyse whether and how the association between tax avoidance and debt covenant violation varies in different agency settings. Consistent with the hypotheses drawn on the Agency Theory, the findings of the empirical research suggest life cycle stages moderate the association between tax avoidance and debt covenant violation. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Overall, this book sheds light on the potential implications of tax avoidance activities for a firm’s capital structure. The book will be of interest to both experienced and early-stage scholars interested in the topic. Moreover, the book will also be of interest to policymakers, investors, analysts, lenders, and other market participants.&lt;/p&gt;
