Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2022 im Fachbereich Führung und Personal - Mitarbeitermotivation, Mitarbeiterzufriedenheit, FOM Hochschule für Oekonomie &amp; Management gemeinnützige GmbH, Berlin früher Fachhochschule, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Diese Seminararbeit untersucht in quantitativer Hinsicht die Wirkung der Mitarbeitermotivation und Arbeitszeitgestaltung auf die Fluktuationsabsicht von Mitarbeitern. Es soll festgestellt werden, ob und in welchem Umfang eine Korrelation zwischen den genannten Kriterien besteht. Die erlangten Ergebnisse werden dargestellt und analysiert. Außerdem resultiert aus den gewonnenen Erkenntnissen eine Handlungsempfehlung für Unternehmen. Ein wichtiges Ziel dieser Arbeit ist es, die Wechselwirkung der Kriterien „Mitarbeitermotivation“, „Arbeitszeitgestaltung“ und „Fluktuationsgedanke“ aufzuzeigen. 

Der deutsche Arbeitsmarkt wandelt sich in nahezu allen Branchen von einem Arbeitgeber- hin zu einem Arbeitnehmermarkt. Hinzu kommen der demografische Wandel, Führungskräftemangel sowie die Konkurrenz durch attraktive Arbeitgeber am Markt. Diese Trends lassen die Arbeit des Personalmanagements für Unternehmen deutlich bedeutender werden.  Zufriedene und qualifizierte Mitarbeiter gelten als Fundament für den Unternehmenserfolg und sind in der heutigen Zeit wichtiger denn je. Verschiedene Unternehmen stehen im Wettkampf leistungsfähige Mitarbeiter zu gewinnen, binden und fördern.  Für den Unternehmenserfolg spielen die Mitarbeitertypen eine entscheidende Rolle. So ließ sich aufgrund von Studien herausstellen, dass erfolgreiche Unternehmen mehr engagierte als unzufriedene Mitarbeiter beschäftigen. Eine förderliche Unternehmenskultur ist unabhängig von Branche, Unternehmensgröße oder Eigentümerstruktur und sollte von Managern für eine nachhaltige Mitarbeiterbindung angestrebt werden. Denn Unternehmen mit zufriedenen Mitarbeitern sind nicht nur effektiver und erfolgreicher, sondern auch die Fluktuationsrate ist geringer. Ungewollte Fluktuation ist für Unternehmen eine kostspielige Angelegenheit und zeitaufwendig.

People are looking for social engagement and a deeper meaning for their holidays. The tourism industry has long since reacted to this desire. As a niche market, voluntourism constitutes an alternative to mass tourism and has recorded a high quantitative and qualitative dynamism since the beginning of the 21st century. An increasing number of tourism providers see a viable economic potential in voluntourism. As a hybrid form of international voluntary service and tourism, it is designed as a bookable touristic offer and marketed within a competitive sector – although it is intended to serve a charitable purpose. The programmes, which were originally small-scale, are marketed commercially by professional tourism operators. Thus, being adapted to market principles and controversial basic elements, such as the adventure of the holidays on the one hand and the meaningful work on the other. Consequently, this trend reflects touristification and commercialisation.
This thesis will explore voluntourism from a different angle by studying the various providers in the German market and their business concepts regarding their product ranges, marketing, and realisation.

Urbanisation in the global South is happening at a rate and scale which is far greater than when the same process unfolded in the north. Many people living under sub-standard conditions do not have their rights as urban citizens recognised and realise that they cannot rely on formal democratic channels or governance structures for their demands to be met. How the state interacts with and is perceived by urban slum dwellers will thus be of central importance for future political and economic development. This book studies the relations between slum dwellers and the state in three cities: Delhi, India; Durban, South Africa and Nairobi, Kenya. Analysing these relations both from the perspective of the state and the perspective of slum dwellers, it focuses on three core state functions - security, welfare, and political participation.
