Course Book: Advisory Services and Emerging Accounting Systems

<p>The field of Advisory (consulting) at the Big Four firms is one of the fastest growing and most profitable of the service lines.  This book provides and overview and hands-on exercises for students to better understand and explore this field.  The book is organized to follow the following types of client advisory:  business process improvement, relational database and related technology use case applications, data analytics and emerging technologies, risk advisory (including audit) and the role of financial analysis in the technology use case implementation process.  The book can serve as a workbook to accompany standard textbooks in the Accounting Information Systems field.</p>
