        &lt;p&gt;Shino Ibold untersucht den Mehrwert einer gleichheitsrechtlichen gegenüber der freiheitsrechtlich geprägten Perspektive, die Gerichte ihren Entscheidungen – unter anderem in Bezug auf Verbote des muslimischen Schleiers – vorrangig zugrunde legen. Diese Verschattung des Gleichheitsrechts durch die Freiheitsrechte bewirkt blinde Flecken in der rechtlichen Analyse. Indem Shino Ibold das „Schattendasein“ des Gleichheitsrechts ausleuchtet und die Notwendigkeit einer eigenständigen Würdigung der gleichheitsrelevanten Aspekte eines Falles verdeutlicht, liefert sie neue Erkenntnisse sowohl für zukünftige Gerichtsentscheidungen zu Verboten des muslimischen Schleiers als auch für die Fortentwicklung der bisher etablierten Gleichheitsrechtsdogmatik.&lt;/p&gt;

Excessive use of force by police officers in Germany has only been investigated to a limited extent to date. This book provides comprehensive scientific findings on relevant situations and how they are dealt with under criminal law. Das Modell verdeutlicht die vielfältigen Diskriminierungsrisiken, die von algorithmischen Systemen der Künstlichen Intelligenz ausgehen und die das Antidiskriminierungsrecht allein nicht zu bewältigen vermag.
