'The Insolvency Petition Filed by the Public Prosecutor's Office': The reform of confiscation law in 2017 introduced an insolvency petition to be filed by the public prosecutor's office in Section 111i (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure as part of the new victims' compensation procedure. The author examines this special insolvency petition from all angles and makes specific proposals for reform at the legislative and sub-legislative level to ensure that the provision is interpreted in a manner that is both constitutional and practical.
