Between Continuity and Reform': This thesis examines the Act on the Introduction of Virtual General Meetings of Stock Corporations of July 26, 2022. It traces the path of this long-debated idea from the pandemic legislation of the GesRuaCOVBekG to the law now in force. The establishment of the virtual general meeting is assessed as generally successful, but the thesis also identifies several shortcomings, for which it presents a specific catalog of measures for legislative improvement.
