In modern times at the latest, the classical question of the doctrine of God, whether and how God is, is prominently joined by the question: where is God? This gives rise to a theology that sees itself as a search for "places of God". Micha Kuhn develops such a theology by working with the rhetorical tradition of topics and the thinking of God by Wolfhart Pannenberg and Eberhard Jüngel.
