Decide

A number that's reachable, trusted, and safely shared still has to change what someone actually does in a room. Most organisations get all three of the first moves right and stall here anyway - not because the data failed, but because nobody built the meeting around the decision it was supposed to produce.

Decide is the fourth and final guide in THE FOUR MOVES series. It draws on Bain & Company's own research - that senior leaders spend over half their time in meetings, two-thirds of which run out of time before a decision gets made - and their Inform/Discuss/Decide framework, credited by name, to fix the room itself rather than the number inside it.
