Prinz, Jasmin'The Right to Physical Integrity and Biomedical Progress in Genome Editing': CRISPR/Cas represents one of the most significant biomedical innovations, enabling targeted modifications to the human genome and thereby raising considerable ethical, social, and legal challenges. This dissertation examines the legal assessment, under EU law, of both medically intended and unintended interventions in somatic and germ cells pursuant to Article 3 CFR, as well as the division of competences under EU law. Selected potential future application scenarios are also analysed.
