Wissenschaftliche Studie aus dem Jahr 2022 im Fachbereich VWL - Finanzwissenschaft, Note: 1,3, , Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Das Ziel dieser Seminararbeit ist, die verschiedenen Rohstoffe übersichtlich darzustellen und anhand von Kriterien zu ordnen, sowie  Rohstoffinvestmentmöglichkeiten anhand von Vor- und Nachteilen zu analysieren. In der Arbeit soll gezielt auch der Frage nachgegangen werden, wie sich die Rohstoffmärkte von anderen Anlagemärkten unterscheiden, sowie eine ausführliche Analyse der Preisbildungseinflüsse von Rohstoffen durchgeführt werden. Zudem soll untersucht werden, inwiefern sich Rohstoffinvestments im Vergleich zu anderen Anlageoptionen, hinsichtlich Rendite- und Risikogesichtspunkten, lohnen.Für einen besseren Überblick, wird in der Arbeit zunächst die Bedeutung und weltweite Verwendung von Rohstoffen, sowie eine Zuordnung in unterschiedliche Klassen dargestellt. Anschließend folgt eine detaillierte Anführung von existierenden Rohstoffinvestmentprodukten, verbunden mit einer Abwägung und Analyse, in welchen Situationen das jeweilige Finanzprodukt aussichtsreiche Rendite erzielen konnte und wann besser auf andere Anlageinstrumente zurückzugreifen ist. Zudem sollen die wesentlichen Spezifikationen des Rohstoffhandels, verbunden mit den  Stichpunkten Termin- und Kassamärkte untersucht werden. Ausführlich analysiert werden sollen dabei auftretende Schwierigkeiten und Phänomene bei der Renditeerzielung, sowie die durchschnittliche Höhe der über die letzten 25 Jahre erreichten Rendite und das dabei auftretende Risiko. Außerdem sollen die Preiseinflüsse auf die Bildung der Rohstoffpreise detailliert erarbeitet und anschaulich erklärt werden. Dabei liegt der Schwerpunkt vor allem auf der Herausarbeitung der Angebots- und Nachfragefaktoren, welche die Rohstoffpreise beeinflussen können. Weiterhin werden auch mögliche Preisauswirkungen von Devisenkursänderungen, Inflation und Zinsen, sowie Spekulanten erforscht. Einige allgemeinen, sich auf die Preisentwicklung fast aller Rohstoffe auswirkenden Erkenntnisse sollen zudem an einem Praxisbeispiel bezüglich des Zustandekommens des Ölpreises zur Anwendung kommen und zusätzlich spezifische Ölpreiseinflüsse identifiziert werden. Schließlich soll der Rohstoffhandel anhand von einigen Gesichtspunkten in Bezug auf andere Investmentklassen verglichen und kritisiert werden. Dabei soll vor allem deutlich werden, wann, in welcher Form und ob überhaupt ein Rohstoffinvestment gegenüber anderen Asset-Klassen lohnend sein kann. Zu guter letzt soll detailliert erklärt werden, weshalb uns ein neuer Superzyklus bevorsteht.
