Strategisches Denken und Handeln in der Chinesischen Automobilindustrie im Spannungsfeld von Tradition und Globalisierung

Inhalt

Diplomarbeit aus dem Jahr 2006 im Fachbereich BWL - Unternehmensführung, Management, Organisation, Note: Gut, Fachhochschule des bfi Wien GmbH (University of applied Siences BFI Vienna), Veranstaltung: Managementlehre, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: In the course of the progressive globalization of the markets and the current developments in the automobile industry, it appears research relevant to light up the strategic processes of the still emerging Chinese automobile industry when it’s progressing toward internationalization and globalization. The work in hand tries to illustrate therefore, with consideration of the specific development of the economy of China, the area of conflict between the 5000 years of age tradition and the modern internationalization standards. Starting point will be a short view on the social and economic developments, which has taken place in the last centuries. A central element of the work is therefore the strategic analysis of the Chinese automobile industry with application of classical instruments of the western management teachings (Chapter 9). The question if there has been developed its own “modern Chinese management style” since the economical opening of China, and thus considerably contributes to the dynamics of the Chinese automobile economy, represents the second core of the work (Chapter 10). A comparative Case Study between China and South Korea points out specific differences in the beginning of the developments of the two automobile industries, before a critical view into the near future of the Chinese automobile industry will finish this paper.
