'SICC or Arbitration? A Comparison of Proceedings in the Singapore International Commercial Court with the Advantages and Disadvantages of International Arbitration Proceedings': Why would parties take their commercial disputes to the Singapore International Commercial Court (SICC) rather than the more popular arbitration? To answer this question, this monograph analyses the extent to which the pros and cons of arbitration apply to the SICC. It examines the constitution and organisation of the SICC, the professional law of lawyers and law firms, the law of procedure, enforcement and litigation costs as well as third-party litigation funding as they relate to the SICC.
