Red Biotechnology between Innovation and Ethics. Human Embryo Editing

Economic growth is the religion of the modern world. It promises a solution to the most basic drama of our human existence: wanting what we don't have. But we live in a time when the frenzied pursuit of economic growth is jeopardizing the planet's viability and our very survival as a species. How did we get to this point in human history? How did we allow the pursuit of growth to become the apotheosis of human development? To answer these questions, the distinguished economist Daniel Cohen takes us on a journey to understand human desire and the different registers on which it has expressed itself throughout history. He brings his panoramic grasp of the subject to bear on the key stages of social and economic development, from the Neolithic revolution to the digital age. A Brief History of the Economy

Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2023 im Fachbereich VWL - Innovationsökonomik, Note: 1,0, Hochschule Fresenius Idstein, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Diese Hausarbeit analysiert zwei innovative Produkte aus dem Mobilitätsbereich. Das erste innovative Produkt, welches im Rahmen dieser Hausarbeit analysiert wird, ist die Power-Swap-Station (PSS) von Nio. Dabei handelt es sich um eine Batterie-Wechselstation von Elektrofahrzeugen des Herstellers Nio. Hier soll innerhalb von rund fünf Minuten die bestehende Fahrzeugantriebsbatterie durch eine voll aufgeladene Batterie ausgetauscht werden. Darüber hinaus ist der Porsche Taycan Bestandteil dieser Hausarbeit. Dabei liegt der Fokus auf den verschiedenen Batterieladestrategien im Kontext der ausgewählten Einflussfaktoren.Die vorliegende Hausarbeit stützt sich im ersten Teil auf den Abschlussbericht der Studie PREMIUM der Universität Passau aus dem Jahr 2017. Dabei wurden die Kundenbedürfnisse zur Elektromobilität ermittelt. Die gewonnenen Erkenntnisse stellen ausgewählte Einflussfaktoren für die Elektromobilität dar. Hierbei wird ein besonderer Fokus auf die Studienhinweise zur Erhöhung der Flexibilität eines Elektrofahrzeugs gelegt. Diese Erkenntnisse bzw. Einflussfaktoren werden in einem nachfolgenden Kapitel nach einem selbst erstellten Bewertungsschema analysiert. Mittels SWOT-Analyse werden daraufhin die Stärken, Schwächen, Chancen und Risiken der beiden Innovationen dargelegt. Abschließend wird ein Fazit gezogen.

In der modernen Geschäftswelt wird die Rolle von KI immer wichtiger, da Innovation die Hauptkraft für Wachstum und Wettbewerbsfähigkeit ist. Diese Arbeit zeigt, dass die Künstliche Intelligenz Unternehmen dabei helfen kann, innovative Lösungen zu entwickeln und ihren Wettbewerbsvorteil zu stärken, in-dem sie diese Faktoren identifiziert. 

Die vorliegende Bachelorarbeit betont jedoch auch die Probleme, mit denen Unternehmen bei der Implementierung von KI, speziell im Bereich Marketing, konfrontiert sind, darunter Bedenken bezüglich Datenschutzes und der Bedarf an qualifizierten Mitarbeitenden. Sie betont, dass eine sorgfältige Planung und strategische Ausrichtung erforderlich sind. 

Insgesamt gibt dieses Kapitel eine umfassende Grundlage für die Analyse der Auswirkungen von Künstlicher Intelligenz (KI) auf die Innovationsfähigkeit, die in den folgenden Kapiteln der Arbeit vertieft wird. Es betont, wie wichtig KI als Instrument ist, um Innovation in Unternehmen zu fördern, und betont, wie wichtig es ist, die Möglichkeiten dieser aufstrebenden Technologie strategisch zu nutzen, um den langfristigen Erfolg eines Unternehmens zu sichern.
