This book explores the dynamic interplay between deep tech and digital entrepreneurship. Using Brazil as the setting, it shows how scientific discoveries and emerging digital opportunities translate into innovation to address societal grand challenges within Brazil’s unique context. The authors examine the challenges, opportunities, and innovative strategies of deep-tech and digital startups operating across transformative industries and ecosystems. The first part of the book focuses on the microfoundations, frameworks, and models that shape the success of deep tech ventures, including their capacity to adapt to uncertainty, build innovation readiness, and achieve commercial viability. The second part turns to digital startups and emphasizes their scalability, internationalization, and the essential role of entrepreneurial ecosystems. The book offers practical insights and actionable solutions for entrepreneurs, managers, and policymakers. The book provides a roadmap for entrepreneurs to navigate and harness the disruptive potential of deep tech and digital entrepreneurship in emerging markets and beyond by combining three major concepts: deep tech, digital, and disruptive enterprises.Felipe Mendes Borini
 &nbsp;is Full Professor at the University of São Paulo (FEA-USP), where he coordinates the Deep Tech Research Project (CNPq) and the Research Program of CEPID Bridge. He also serves as Vice-Coordinator of PGT/USP. His research focuses on strategy, innovation, and organizational capabilities.
 Fernanda Cahen
 is Associate Professor of International Business and Innovation and Coordinator of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at ESPM. Associate Researcher at the CEPID Bridge Program. She has held visiting positions at the University of Southern California and Indiana University. Her research explores international business, digital globalization, and innovation.
 Moacir de Miranda Oliveira Jr.
 &nbsp;is Full Professor at the University of São Paulo and Otto Mønsted Visiting Professor at Copenhagen Business School. He is President of the Triple Helix Association and of the USP Endowment Fund, and a member of the Global Innovation Index Advisory Board. His work centers on strategy, innovation, and startup scalability.

Valerie Ahlfeld zeigt anhand von Adalbert Stifters 'Der Nachsommer', Theodor Fontanes 'Vor dem Sturm' und Wilhelm Raabes 'Das Odfeld', wie diese Denkfigur in einer Zeit transformiert wird, in der sich die Sammlungspraxis in Richtung spezialisierter Museen verlagerte. This book examines questions surrounding body adornments and its link to identity in archaeology, looking at theoretical and interpretive frameworks that are relevant to the study of different categories of personal ornaments. Identity is a crucial topic in archaeology where its concept is investigated through the study of many categories of material culture. As self-representation, identity constitutes a choice through which an individual or a group want to be seen by others. The volume covers a wide geographical and chronological frame from the Upper Paleolithic era to Medieval times, examining North, Central, and Southern Europe as well as regions in Southwest Asia and North Africa.
 
This book is based on a session organised at the European Archaeological Association (EAA) in 2023, with a commonality, namely, body adornments. Participants explored the ways in which possessing, wearing and/or trading personal ornaments was a means through which individual and social identity could be expressed in antiquity. This volume is of relevance to archaeological researchers, practitioners, and students.
