Nietzsche's work The Wanderer and His Shadow appeared as a supplement to Human All-too-Human. Recently, it has rightly been regarded by researchers as a work in its own right. The detailed commentary in a separate volume within the Nietzsche-Kommentar takes this increased importance into account.
