Im Januar 1896 veröffentlichte Popov einen Artikel, in dem er das Schema des weltweit ersten Radioempfängers offenbarte. Im Juni 1896 patentierte Guglielmo Marconi eine Erfindung, die das Schema des zuvor in der Publikation Popovs veröffentlichten Geräts wiederholte. Diese Aktion bewog den russischen Wissenschaftler zu einer Reihe von Stellungnahmen, in denen er sein Prioritätsrecht verteidigte. Zwar wurde er dafür auf dem Pariser Elektrotechnischen Kongress im Jahr 1900 geehrt, im öffentlichen Bewusstsein gilt jedoch bis heute Marconi wegen seines Patents als Erfinder des Radios. Der Band versammelt die wichtigsten Veröffentlichungen Popovs, die bis heute unbekannt geblieben sind.

MedienBildungForschung

Digitale Medienbildung bleibt prominente Aufgabe für Schulen aller Schularten. Die Grundschule ist die erste verpflichtende Bildungseinrichtung, die hier einen Auftrag erhält, damit sich individuelle Herkunftsunterschiede der Kinder nicht segregierend auswirken. Förderprogramme sollen die technische Ausstattung an den Schulen ermöglichen. Doch oft genug scheint das nicht ausreichend. Die Einführung digitaler Medien sorgt für Unsicherheiten und Kontroversen im Kollegium. Ähnlich verhält es sich bei der Inklusion. Gemeinsamen Unterricht für Kinder mit und ohne Beeinträchtigungen empfinden viele Lehrkräfte als nicht zu leistende Überforderung. Die Argumente sind jedes Mal ähnlich. Ursache - so die These dieses Bandes - ist ein gesamtgesellschaftlicher Paradigmenwechsel: Für Lehrkräfte ist ein anderes Denken gefordert. Der Band will anregen, eigene Überzeugungen und subjektive Theorien zu reflektieren, neue wissenschaftliche Theorien kennenzulernen, die digitale Medienbildung und Inklusion miteinander verbinden und Mut machen sollen für kreative und flexible Einsatzmöglichkeiten digitaler Medien im inklusiven Grundschulunterricht.
Neben theoretischer Fundierung und Überlegungen für die Schulentwicklung stellen die Autorinnen beispielhaft ein dreijähriges Schulentwicklungsprojekt an einer Grundschule vor, bei dem in universitärer Kooperation verschiedene Einsatzmöglichkeiten von Tablets erprobt und evaluiert worden sind und die Einstellungen der beteiligten Lehrkräfte und Studierenden beobachtet wurden. Es richtet sich v.a. an die Aus- und Weiterbildung von Lehrkräften und an Studierende vor und im Praxissemester, sowie an Lehrkräfte im Referendariat.
