In Teilaufgabe 1 wird die makruprudenzielle Aufsicht von der mikroprudenziellen Aufsicht abgegrenzt. Die jeweiligen Steuerungsinstrumente werden erläutert und deren Wirksamkeit abgewogen. Teilaufgabe 2 beschäftigt sich mit den Eigenmittelanforderungen an Kreditinstitute. Hierbei wird sowohl auf die Ziele der Bankenaufsicht als auch auf die Arten und Charakteristika von Eigenkapital eingegangen. Teilaufgabe 3 beschreibt den Nutzen der Offenlegungspflichten (Marktdiszipin). Insb. werden die Gründe der Implementierung der Offenlegungspflichten in Basel II erläutert.
