The Tightrope of Trust

A memoir about the life that shapes a man and the career that tests him

From quirky Irish pubs to a questionable karaoke lounge in Taiwan, I built a career on structure, discipline, and a code of conduct formed long before I set foot in an office. Those values began taking shape at age three on a kitchen staircase, watching my father leave and not come back.

The Tightrope of Trust unfolds in two distinct parts. The first traces family, education, and early professional experiences that shaped me, leading to a defining moment when the woman I loved chose to leave everything behind and join me in Ireland. The second follows the decades that came after, as success, loss, and corporate politics tested the values that had guided me and slowly revealed their limits.

Candid, often wry, and deeply reflective, this is a memoir about trust, resilience, love, burnout, and what it takes to stop holding on to what isn't there and embracing what is.
