So wie ein Miteinander zwischen Menschen ohne Kommunikation undenkbar ist, ist es ebenso für wirtschaftliche und nicht wirtschaftliche Organisationen unabwendbar, sich mit ihrer Umwelt auszutauschen. Kommunikation findet auf unterschiedlichste Weise statt - durch Worte, die Erscheinung, Gestik und Mimik. So kommunizieren auch Organisationen durch Worte, durch ihre physische Erscheinung und durch Handlungen. Im Marketingbereich geht es um zielgerichtete und absichtsvolle Kommunikation. Neben den Bereichen der Produkt-, Distributions- und Preispolitik ist die Kommunikation die vierte klassische Säule des Marketing und Fokus dieser Arbeit.Ziel dieser Arbeit ist es, am Beispiel eines Londoner Museums eine Kommunikationsstrategie zu erarbeiten. Es geht daher nicht vorrangig um die Lösung einer theoretischen Problematik, sondern um die praxisorientierte Frage „Wie kann eine erfolgreiche Kommunikationsstrategie für das Theatre Museum in London gestaltet werden?“. Ein besonderer Schwerpunkt liegt im Bereich der Zielgruppensegmentierung, die letztlich eine zielgruppengerechte Ansprache im Rahmen der Kommunikationsstrategie ermöglichen soll. Ferner wird als Zusatz der Aspekt der Finanzrestriktion im Kulturbereich diskutiert, um so Alternativen für den Kommunikationsbereich aufzuzeigen. Vernachlässigt wird hingegen der Gesichtspunkt derKommunikationskontrolle, da der Fokus der Arbeit auf den strategischen Teil gelegt wird.Der Kulturbereich wurde als Aktionsfeld dieser Arbeit gewählt, da er einerseits für den klassischen Ökonomen ein spannendes Feld darstellt und andererseits die Relevanz des Marketing in diesem Feld erst seit einigen Jahren vermehrt zunimmt. So haben veränderte Rahmenbedingungen im Kulturbereich dazu geführt, dass neben anderen Bereichen des Marketing vor allem die Marketing-Kommunikation eine zunehmend wichtigere Rolle spielt. Es wurde erkannt, dass Kommunikation im Allgemeinen und Kommunikationsstrategien im Besonderen nicht nur hilfreich sein können, um ein neues und verstärktes Interesse an Kulturthemen und -angeboten zu wecken, sondern auch, um sich gegenüber zunehmendem Wettbewerb zu behaupten und damit letztlich die eigene Existenzberechtigung zu sichern.

Seminar paper from the year 2010 in the subject Business economics - Operations Research, grade: 1,0, Anglia Ruskin University, course: International Business, language: English, abstract: With Wal-Mart being one of the biggest retailers in the world, serving customers in more than 8,650 retail units in 15 countries, as stated by the company (Wal-Mart, 2010), it makes the perfect example to look at in terms of globalisation and the impacts and strategies that relate to it. A very brief explanation by Holm and Sørensen (1995, p. 12) defines globalisation as “The intensification of economic, political, social and cultural relations across borders”. In my opinion this phrase is too superficial to actually explain all the outcomes and interrelations of the complexity of globalisation. It is also unknown regarding how to measure the degree on relations across the world and also their intensification as well as whether relationships exist between the economic, political, social and cultural relations. I believe that a definition should also be addressed about the technological and financial transformation that is currently taking place, the geographical reallocation of production and the emerging of a „powerless nation state“. Others see the phenomena of globalisation rather simple. Levitt (2006, p. 133) stated that “The world’s needs and desires have been irrevocably homogenised”, which leads one to believe that consumer tastes around the world appear to merge. While this is also referred to as the ‘simultaneous theory of internationalisation’, it means that standardised products, services and strategies can be used around the globe.  Keeping in mind of Levitt’s thesis, this paper first gives a general overview of the impacts of globalisation on Wal-Mart as this is important to understand ongoing argumentation. Later, it will concentrate on Wal-Mart’s presence in Germany, explaining the market entry into the country while concurrently focusing on strategies used and outcomes of the company’s actions in Germany.

Erfolgreich sind diese Veränderungen jedoch nur, wenn die Mitarbeiter diese auch verinnerlichen, akzeptieren und schlussendlich auch leben.  Wesentlicher  Einflussfaktor ist hierbei die schnelle und erfolgreiche Umsetzung der Veränderungen durch die Belegschaft.  Um diese wichtige Erfolgsgröße richtig und effizient steuern zu können, befassen sich sowohl das strategische Personalmanagement, als auch die Unter-nehmenskommunikation – speziell in der Mitarbeiterkommunikation – mit der Rolle des Mitarbeiters. „Kommunikation ist [...] Voraussetzung und Schlüssel zur Veränderung“.Daher müssen Unternehmensbotschaften möglichst effizient und merkfähig auf der Mitarbeiterebene, direkt bei der entsprechenden Anspruchsgruppe platziert werden. Viele Kanäle und Ansprachewege sind dabei eher rational und einseitig auf die reine Informationsvermittlung ausgelegt. Ob über Intranet, Broschüren oder Präsentationen werden Informationen zu betrieblichen Themen wie z.B. Umstrukturierungen übermittelt. Oftmals wurde hierbei in der Vergangenheit die Rolle von Emotionen als Träger und Speicher einer Unternehmensbotschaft unterschätzt. Seit einigen Jahren erfährt jedoch das Unternehmenstheater als Maßnahme der Mitarbeiterkommunikation zunehmend an Interesse und Anwendung in der Praxis. Das Unternehmenstheater – auch Business Theatre, Corporate Theatre, Situation Drama oder bedarfsorientiertes Theater – findet seinen Ursprung Anfang der 80er Jahre des 20. Jahrhunderts in Frankreich.  Durch bildhafte Inszenierungen und Umsetzungen der Unternehmensbotschaften in emotional geprägten Drehbuch-Plots lassen sich so komplexe oder sensible Themen anschaulich den Mitarbeiter vermitteln.

There is no long-lasting peace in the history of the human being. The world has passed through conflicts and wars for centuries. The Second World War was the most prominent and devastating in its nature. Millions of people were dead, world economic development being stagnated and millions of children became orphans. And hence, we peoples of the world are in a need to come up with compressive rules and procedures to govern the ongoing conflicts. That is why the International humanitarian law (here after called IHL) was designed. IHL is a subject matter that regulates the conduct of war. IHL does not prevent war from being happened, rather it regulates the conduct of already happened war and it gives equal protection to those parties which are within the conflict without a need to observe their status in order to balance military necessity and humanity. While the very nature of twenty-one century warfare has arguably undergone significant developments in recent years, it is widely noted that non-State actors actively play an increasingly substantial role in contemporary violent conflicts.  Although non-State actors have been fighting against States throughout history, they were subject to domestic law enforcement. As the nature of war evolves due to non-state actors exerting influence, and subsequently their role as agents to armed conflict become prevailing around the world. Enhancing compliance with international norms by armed non-state actors is central to efforts to improve the protection of civilians in armed conflict. Limited engagement with such actors, as well as lack of clarity as to the precise nature and extent of the international legal regimes that are apply to them; constitute significant barriers to achieving better compliance. The spectrum of new types of non-state actors is broad, “encompassing a range of identities, motivations and varying degrees of willingness and ability, to observe IHL and other international law standards.’’
