Kulturorganisationen und ihr Personal bestimmen maßgeblich über die Produktion, Distribution und Rezeption von Kunst und Kultur. Sie legen z. B. die Kontexte und Orte ihrer Aufführung und Vermittlung fest, oder nehmen sogar Einfluss auf deren Pro-duktion und Nutzung/Re-Produktion, etwa durch die Einflussnahme auf künstlerische Wertschöpfung oder die Reklamation von Leistungsschutzrechten.
