The Blues Brothers hit theatres on June 20, 1980. Their scripted mission was to save a local Chicago orphanage; but Aykroyd, who conceived and wrote much of the film, had a greater mission: to honour the then-seemingly forgotten tradition of rhythm and blues, some of whose greatest artists - Aretha Franklin, James Brown, John Lee Hooker, Cab Calloway, Ray Charles - made the film as unforgettable as its wild car chases. Beyoncé: Volume 112

Anlässlich des hundertjährigen Geburtstages von Albert King ist sein Live-Album In Session mit Stevie Ray Vaughan aus dem Jahr 1999 nun zum ersten Mal vollständig auf LP, CD und digital erhältlich. Es wurde 1983 in den CHCH-TV-Studios in Ontario, Kanada, live für das Fernsehen aufgenommen und ist die einzige bekannte Aufnahme, auf der Vaughan und King zusammen spielen. Mit von der Partie sind außerdem Tony Llorens (Klavier/Orgel), Gus Thornton (Bass) und Michael Llorens (Schlagzeug). Diese Deluxe-Edition wurde von Joe Tarantino neu gemastert. Die Produkte sind überall ab dem 18, Oktober erhältlich.

Nach den ersten beiden hochgelobten CDs/LPs des Gregor Hilden Organ Trios kommt mit 'New Boogaloo' nun der dritte Streich, der neben feinsinnigen, intimen, Blues- Jazz-klängen, funky-Grooves eine Menge an sorgsam und aufwändig produzierten Titeln beinhaltet! Studiotechnik wurde intensiv genutzt, um das Klangspektrum mit diversen Gitarrenspuren zu verfeinern.
