This thesis provides an insight into the scope of cultural influences on the immediate success or failure of change processes. More precisely, it discusses the cultural influences of China and India on change management processes, using the two success factors communication and participation as examples. This way, awareness is created for cultural differences and impressions of conflicts along the change process due to cultural differences are provided.Already described approximately 2,500 years ago by the Greek philosopher Heraclitus is the constant change of society. Change is not a part of life, rather life consists of constant change, he claimed. His statement is still valid today. Global megatrends influence each individual, the society as such and of course also all kinds of corporations, institutions, and organizations, acting within the society. The influence of global megatrends leads to a shift in economic systems and forces companies to rethink.Adaptability to the ever-changing environment is the key factor for success for enterprises and will become more and more important over the next five to ten years. Megatrends like the digitization and globalization enable or even require oversea business relationships, cooperation with and expansion to different continents. Cross-cultural teams are more common than ever, various employee’s expectations, needs and ways of working collide in an increasingly dynamic and complex work environment. Companies with worldwide operations undergo global change processes, not only local ones. Emerging markets are of particular interest as the global economy and the availability of skilled labour shifts Eastwards. Additionally, a company undergoes several transformative steps which trigger internal change when growing. It can be noted that cross-cultural change processes, are not a one-off occurrence but are increasingly needed in varying degrees of intensity.

In dieser Arbeit sollen neben der Erarbeitung der theoretischen Grundlagen auch praktische Erfahrungen in Bezug auf die virtuelle Führung untersucht werden.Führungskräfte haben einen erheblichen Einfluss auf die Motivation und Arbeitszufriedenheit der Mitarbeiter, da sie bei der Gestaltung von Arbeitsbedingungen eine entscheidende Rolle einnehmen. Zusätzlich können sie durch ihr Führungsverhalten Belastungen von Mitarbeitern verstärken oder reduzieren. Motivation bezeichnet Prozesse, bei denen bestimmte Motive in Handlungen umgesetzt werden. Die Aufgabe einer Führungskraft ist es also, seine Mitarbeiter zu motivieren und zu einer bestmöglichen Leistung anzutreiben. Durch die Berücksichtigung der zentralen Motive der Mitarbeiter können die Führungsziele schneller und effektiver erreicht werden.

In the beginning, the requirements of generation Z are being derived. This is a base for next step where possible motivational incentive systems are being presented for companies and management. The following part will start with the theoretical and conceptional basics, followed by the definition of motivation in a professional context and Alderfer's ERG (Existence, Relatedness and Growth) theory. There will be a description of each individual generation on the labor market, which leads into possible motivational incentive systems for companies deriving on case studies. Following on this, there is a discussion of today's challenges that companies are facing. The paper will end with a summary of this work, a critical review and gives an outlook.

Als Methode dient eine Literaturanalyse. Dafür werden die jeweiligen Führungsstile hinsichtlich ihrer Motivation von Mitarbeitern untersucht. 
Diese Arbeit ist in sechs Kapitel unterteilt. Kapitel zwei gibt eine theoretische Einführung in das Thema Projekt. Hierbei wird auf die Begriffe Projekt, Projektmanagement, Projektleiter und Projektteam eingegangen. Das darauffolgende Kapitel drei bildet die theoretische Grundlage zum Thema Führung. Zunächst wird der Begriff Führung definiert, um danach die Führungsstile vorzustellen, welche zur Beantwortung der Forschungsfrage von Bedeutung sein können. Kapitel vier bildet den heuristischen Rahmen der Arbeit und stellt motivationstheoretische Ansätze als Analyserahmen vor. Dabei wird der Begriff Motivation definiert und im Anschluss die Bedürfnispyramide von Maslow und die Zwei-Faktoren-Theorie von Herzberg zur Motivation von Mitarbeitern erläutert. In Kapitel fünf wird daraufhin die Förderung der Motivation durch den Projektleiter anhand der vorher erläuterten Führungsstile und Motivationstheorien diskutiert. Ein Fazit bildet den Schlussteil der Arbeit.

Die Wirkung von Motivation auf Commitment in der Telekommunikationsbranche

Dabei sollen insbesondere die möglichen Herausforderungen und nötigen Schritte für ein erfolgreiches Management des Personals aufgezeichnet werden.Beginnend mit theoretischen Grundlagen zur Schaffung einer Informationsbasis sollen zwei bekannte Motivationstheorien beschrieben und verglichen werden. Dabei soll der Fokus auf der Arbeitsbezogenen Motivation bzw. auf den beschriebenen Faktoren liegen. In einem weiteren Schritt wird der Begriff "Industrie 4.0" genauer erarbeitet und die Kernelementesowie die Veränderungen auf die „klassische“ Industrie sollen hervorgehoben werden. Aus diesen Informationsquellen soll weiterführend eine Aussage über die Relevanz und den Bedarf an einer systematischen Nutzung des Wissens über die unterschiedlichen Motivationstheorien getroffen werden.
