Lisa's adventures in Melandria - Volume 2

Lisa was horrified: her favourite tree had been cut down! Heartbroken, she retreated to her room. Everything at home was making her feel sad; in contrast she remembered how beautiful it had been in the fantastical, mystical land of Melandria! Feeling downcast, Lisa gazed at the golden flower - a farewell gift from her Melandria friends. Suddenly, the little ornament began to glow and pulled Lisa into a swirling vortex of greenish light! When Lisa awoke next, she was greeted by Ludno, the wise woman of the herblings, and two clumsy dwarf women: "Welcome, Lisa, yes, welcome!" Overjoyed to be back in Melandria, Lisa soon realised that terrible things had been happening in her absence. The herblings were suffering from a famine, the wild dryads in the Great Forests were preparing for war against the dwarfs, and Lisa's friends Tom and Fred had vanished without a trace. Can Lisa help her friends, and will she ever find her way back home?
