'Bound Control. On the Democratic Legitimacy of the German Federal Constitutional Court': The standards that the Federal Constitutional Court applies, based on the Basic Law, to the democratic legitimacy of state organs acting with sovereign authority are identified through a jurisprudential analysis and then applied to the Court itself through a deductive approach. Finally, based on the model of bound control, an equivalence between the function of the Federal Constitutional Court and its democratic legitimacy is established.
