Hornung C: Die frühen poetologischen
Vorträge von Federico Garcia Lorca

Die frühen poetologischen Vorträge von Federico Garcia Lorca

als avantgardistische Lektüre der Tradition

Culture - Environment - Society / Humanities and beyond

This volume highlights recent research on women's authorship in the Afro-Luso-Brazilian Atlantic, intersecting memory studies, postcolonialism, and world literature. It explores how women's literary and critical works act as cultural resistance, challenging hegemonic male narratives. Using a comparative approach, it examines canonical and non-canonical writers, including those using social media and slam poetry. Themes include gender, race, violence, and exclusion, analyzed intersectionally. Essays discuss how women's writing deconstructs memory legacies and challenges patriarchy, neoliberalism, and Western hegemony. Methodology includes comparative analysis and fieldwork across Lusophone countries, featuring interviews and local events.

Deconstructing Memory Legacies in the Afro-Luso-Brazilian Atlantic

Writing of Women as Cultural Resistance

With subtle humor and provocative depth, Diana Widawski reveals a fascinating panorama of ceramic work, transcending the boundaries between art and craft. Text in English and German. In this publication, Diana Widawski reveals a fascinating panorama of ceramic work. With subtle humor and provocative depth, she transcends the boundaries between art and craft in her tiled tableaux and assemblages. In surprising, playful, yet precise ways, she dares to expose both our present-day kitsch and also that found in art itself, right up to its tipping point. “Dana Widawski’s figures … provoke a simultaneous attraction and disgust: too delicate, too cute, too pretty, too frivolous, too direct—all industrial white sugar. Something happens, you become gripped, emotionally, personally. You are made aware of your own feelings and associations” (Esther Niebel). Text in English and German.

The theme of this volume revolves around three distinct yet interconnected analytical categories: identity, conflict, and interaction. The contributions collected here foreground the challenges, tensions and limitations inherent in identity construction, conflictual online discourse as well as verbal interaction, whether investigated independently or as an interplay across these domains. Theoretically, the contributions are ingrained in various scholarly traditions which comprise educational studies, educational philosophy and psycho- and socio-linguistics, including the socio-pragmatic aspects of digital discourse.
