Dictionary of Encounter

The Dictionary of Encounter juxtaposes Christian and Muslim views of their own respective religions. Theologians from Germany and Turkey explain the basic concepts of their religions, presenting them side by side and thus inviting readers to better understand their own and other religions. It is an indispensable guide for Christians and Muslims living together in a pluralistic, democratic society.
In its pursuit of improving interreligious dialogue, the Eugen Biser Foundation has joined with Ankara University to develop a foundational tool for the advancement of Christian-Islamic understanding.
