Anwaltsrhetorik in den Simpson-Prozessen

'Legal Rhetoric in the Simpson Trials': In 1995, O.J. Simpson was acquitted of murdering his ex-wife Nicole Brown and her friend Ron Goldman in the highly publicized trial of the century. Just two years later, a civil court ordered him to pay USD 33.5 million in damages, despite the evidence being largely the same. This thesis analyzes the rhetorical means used in both trials and examines the factors behind their contrasting outcomes, moving beyond conventional wisdom of perceived guilt and the so-called ¿race card¿.
