In collaboration with the estate of Bill Traylor, this publication offers a comprehensive look at the self-taught artist’s distinctive imagery, which mixes subjects and iconography from the American South with a strong formalistic treatment of color, shape, and surface.Born into slavery, Traylor spent much of his life after the 1863 Emancipation Proclamation working as a farm laborer in rural Alabama and, later, as a shoemaker and factory worker in Montgomery. In 1939, at approximately the age of 85, having never previously trained or studied art in any formal way, Traylor began making drawings and works on paper using gouache and other media. Though he continued to make art for the remainder of his life, Traylor was most prolific between 1939 and 1942, creating a body of work that offers a unique and rich registry of his life, experience, and insights.This monograph weaves beautiful reproductions of Traylor’s works with essays by and conversations with his descendants, offering a unique and deeply personal look at this artist whose work exists in the collections of many notable institutions in the United States but whose story has never been fully told.

Data privacy continues to be an important topic for discussion throughout changing technology, business, and legislation landscapes. The U.S. legislation continues to shift state-by-state, resulting in changes that are often difficult for companies to keep up with. This is (one reason) why businesses should adopt their own data framework principles to guide their business strategy. Developing data guidelines or principles is the practice of a business voluntarily going beyond data privacy legislation to create and implement a data collection and usage framework that prioritizes customer relationships through a lens of transparency and control. 
The book explores how consumer data are currently collected from everyday interactions, surveys, website usage, purchases, and more, then examines how that information feeds data and business strategies for companies around the world. Data collection is often complex-it requires different kinds of technology and uses different validation methods, all across different pieces of data-and this complexity can lead to issues with accuracy and tracking of when and how consumer data are used. Data are used to drive business strategies by helping companies find their most loyal users, bring in new customers, and increase usage, among other things. An underlying guide for data principles can lead to improved accuracy in data collection, help businesses stay transparent with consumers, generate more trust, and ultimately, increase business performance. 
As consumers become more educated and more aware about what data are collected and how they are used by companies, there is a growing need for businesses to develop a relationship with their consumers built on trust and mutual value. There is currently a gap between the amount of data collected, its usage, and how consumers trust and value the companies with which they do business. 
Finally, this book discusses how businesses can bridge that gap, between consumer trust and effective business strategy by developing their own set of data guidelines and principles that can improve business growth. These strategies are designed to help drive consumer trust by treating consumers like real people and understanding the relationship between data collection, usage, and consumer trust.

Through a series of newly-commissioned conversations by renowned artists, writers, and scholars, in produced in collaboration with the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum in Santa Fe, In New Light offers new entry points into the iconic American modernist. An extremely well-known painter and cultural figure, O’Keeffe’s persona and biography have remained as much a part of her story as her innovations within and contributions to modernist painting. What are the questions that need to be asked (and critiques to be raised and considered) about her work and legacy today?
 Included is a fully illustrated summary of O’Keeffe’s work — from very early pieces to her latest paintings, with both significant masterworks as well as less-known pieces. Photographs of the artist, her residence in Abiquiú, and other objects and ephemera in the Museum’s collection appear throughout this chronological plate section.
 In addition to the O’Keeffe Museum, the artist’s work is held in countless major public collections, including the Amon Carter Museum of American Art (Dallas),&nbsp;Art Institute of Chicago, Brooklyn Museum, Cleveland Museum of Art, Milwaukee Art Museum,&nbsp;National Gallery of Art (Washington), and The White House (Washington, DC).
