Die Forschungsfrage dieser Arbeit lautet: Gelingt es Porsche, trotz verschärfter Abgasnormen, leistungsstarke Motoren für ihre beliebte Modellserie 911 zu bauen? Es werden also die Motoren der einzelnen Modelle miteinander verglichen und Unterschiede, bezogen auf die Abgasnorm, festgestellt und analysiert.  Die Porsche 911 Serie hat sich seit ihrer Präsentation im September 1963 stark verändert, ist aber trotzdem vielen Traditionen treu geblieben. Im Inneren jedes 911ers findet man zum Beispiel die fünf nebeneinander angeordneten Armaturen, die seit dem ersten Modell des 911ers gleichgeblieben sind. Sie wurden lediglich vom Design etwas verändert. Das gleiche gilt auch für die Silhouette des Porsche. Wenn man sich das neuste Modell anschaut, erkennt man immer noch die Grundzüge des ersten Modells. Diese Tradition wollte Porsche auch bei seinen Motoren beibehalten. Man soll immer die Verbindung zu dem ersten Modell erkennen, gleichzeitig sollen die neuen Modelle aber auch stärker, schneller und effizienter werden. Das erwarten einerseits die Kunden, andererseits muss Porsche sich auch an eine Vielzahl Vorschriften halten. Eine dieser Vorschriften ist die Abgasnorm, die die Grenzwerte für die Luftschadstoffe, die ein Auto ausstößt, festlegt.

Leistungsstarke Motoren trotz verschärfter Abgasnormen? Die Veränderung der Porsche 911-Motoren

Doctoral Thesis / Dissertation from the year 2020 in the subject Business economics - Industrial Management, grade: 88.8, , course: Doctoral Degree Program, language: English, abstract: A sustainable energy regime, especially for developing countries such as Ivory Coast, is a wise choice. It can mobilize renewable energy resources, modernize energy system, allow for energy savings, safeguard the equilibrium of local ecosystems, contribute to poverty alleviation and, therefore, constitutes a significant aid towards universal access to modern energy services.This current research investigates the conditions needed to achieve a sustainable energy regime by the next decade (2030) in Ivory Coast, West Africa. To identify these conditions, first, a forecast model using a hybrid method, support vector regression (SVR) and an autoregressive integrated moving average (ARIMA) was employed to predict energy consumption by 2030. Second, a back-casting approach to assessing alternative energy scenarios was carried out. Third, a national energy action plan (NEAP) was designed with the help of a multi-criteria decision analysis (MCDA) and a technique known as the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (AHP).The results show that, by 2030, conventional fuels should be dominant in the transport and industrial sectors, while traditional forms of energy should prevail over others in the residential one. Besides, the green scenario that accumulates universal energy access, energy efficiency, and renewable energies dissemination targets are the most sustainable. Moreover, social criterion and solar energy were found the most critical factor and the most preferred renewable energy, respectively, when considering a sustainable energy path.Based on those findings, it was recognized that a definite shift in energy policy maximizing the use of clean types of energy was required to reach a sustainable energy regime. In this perspective, policy recommendations, in addition to the national energy action plan, were provided to guide the Ivorian decision-makers.

Supplier development is associated with many desirable outcomes like cost reduction, time to market, reduced cycle time, improved quality of the product, manufacturing flexibility and knowledge exchange between business partners. Manufacturing sector plays a vital role in the economy of every country for value creation, contribution to the GDP, boosts foreign exchange reserves, employment generation and poverty reduction. This calls for a special focus on manufacturing sector and so as on manufacturing outsourcing value chain. The role of small scale suppliers (SSI) are substantial in providing the competitive edge to the manufacturing organizations. So it is advisable to keep the SSI suppliers’ growth, development and satisfaction high in order to meet the desired operational flexibility, competitive advantage, time to market, increased market share and improved profit by the large scale organizations. Lot of research activities carried out in reference to the supplier development (SD) from buying firm’s perspective. Supplier development models, theoretical frameworks, barriers of SD explored only from the buying organizations view point. Very little research carried out on SD from selling organization point of view and that too in discrete manufacturing sector, it is not witnessed even one. Dies hat zur Folge, dass sich langfristig einzelne Fertigungsprozesse und Lieferketten verändern, da beispielsweise Produktion und Logistik enger zusammenwachsen. Im Rahmen dieser Hausarbeit soll der aktuelle Entwicklungsstand der 3D-Drucktechnologie aus einer betriebswirtschaftlichen Anwendungssicht herausgearbeitet werden. Zudem sollen anhand bestehender Anwendungsbeispiele die Chancen und Risiken für Industrieunternehmen im Supply-Chain-Management heute sowie in den nächsten 10 Jahren abgeleitet werden.

Bachelorarbeit aus dem Jahr 2017 im Fachbereich BWL - Industriebetriebslehre, Note: 1,30, Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die im Rahmen der Industrie 4.0 entwickelten Konzepte finden in einem Großteil der Industriebetriebe weltweit noch keine bzw. geringe praktische Anwendung. Auch die Forschung, insbesondere im Bereich der Anwendung industrieller Vernetzung auf logistische Prozesse, befindet sich in einem noch frühen Stadium. Daher setzt sich diese Arbeit das Ziel den aktuellen Stand der Forschung im Bereich der Logistik 4.0 systematisch abzubilden, bestehende Ansätze zu verknüpfen sowie Forschungslücken aufzuzeigen. Im zweiten Kapitel werden hierzu die theoretischen Grundlagen und Definitionen, die im Zusammenhang mit den Themengebieten Industrie 4.0 und Logistik stehen, erläutert. Hierbei werden insbesondere auch die technischen Grundlagen für den Wandel zur Logistik 4.0 kurz erklärt, um somit eine Basis für die späteren Auswertungsergebnisse zu schaffen. In Kapitel 3 wird die verwendete Methodik dieser Arbeit vorgestellt, wobei neben der Erläuterung des Suchvorgangs der Schwerpunkt in der Beschreibung der limitierenden Faktoren und der Methodik der Literaturauswertung liegt. Im Anschluss daran werden die Ergebnisse der systematischen Literaturanalyse präsentiert und die gestellten Forschungsfragen diskutiert. Abschließend folgt ein Fazit, welches neben einer kurzen Zusammenfassung der Arbeit auch deren Limitationen sowie den weiteren Forschungsbedarf im Themengebiet Logistik 4.0 aufzeigt.

Weiter sollen die Auswirkungen auf die inländische Automobilindustrie näher beleuchtet werden.Seit einigen Jahren wird nun prognostiziert, dass die Elektromobilität einen immensen Einfluss auf die deutsche Automobilindustrie haben wird. Doch was ist bis heute davon zu sehen? Schaut man sich die Elektrofahrzeugneuzulassungen in Deutschland an, so wird schnell deutlich, dass sich hier entgegen der Erwartungen noch nicht allzu viel getan hat. Sicher lassen sich vereinzelnd Elektrofahrzeuge und hybride Fahrzeuge auf den Straßen finden, doch das Straßenbild ist weiterhin stark von PKWs mit Verbrennungsmotoren geprägt. Das ambitionierte Ziel der Bundesregierung bis 2020 eine Million Elektrofahrzeuge auf deutschen Straßen zu etablieren, konnte nicht erreicht werden. Klimapolitische Ziele, der Ausbau einer elektromobilfreundlichen Infrastruktur und die Endlichkeit fossiler Ressourcen steigern jedoch zunehmend das Verlangen und die Attraktivität von Elektromobillösungen.

Many have described the ISO 9000 as a one size fits all standards because of their universality to apply in all industries. Despite its applicability in all industries, there are concerns on ISO 9000 quality management system adoption especially in the developing economies which is slow, and one of the cited reasons for its slow adoption is lack of awareness and also initiatives to apply it. Currently, most of the businesses and manufacturing companies have taken a great initiative to register for ISO 9000 or in industry-specific version including ISO 9000:2000, AS 9100, QS 9000 or ISO 14000. According to the Geneva-based international organization for standardization (ISO), all ISO 9000:1914 companies need to re-certify under the current standards ISO 9000:2000. On that note, Pakistan who is a member of ISO is taking the necessary measures to upgrade its standards to meet the current ISO 9000:2000 standards (Hayat, 2003).ISO 9000 is beneficial to organizations because it acts as a tool or strategy to enhance their performance in the global market as they certify the standards on quality management when producing their goods and services in the market both domestically and internationally. The certification with ISO standards, therefore, becomes a prerequisite for the firm’s survival in the market thus increasing its use in most of the firms in Pakistan and across the globe.On that note, the article takes a critical analysis on ISO 9000 different practices including the use of ISO 9000 in international markets, top management support, consultancy, role of training, critical success factors, the next step after ISO 9000 has been certified, cost of certification, impacts of ISO 9000, the benefits to be gained, some of the problems faced before, during and after the adoption process, its current status, its future prospects, and some of the general practices as evident in Pakistan sports industry. The article has intensively identified several case studies which explain the current status of ISO 9000 and its existing practices in the sports industry.
