'The Bavarian Concordat of 1924': This conference volume is devoted to the historical reconstruction and authentic interpretation of the Bavarian Concordat of 1924, the first state-church agreement based on the Weimar Constitution and its principle of the separation of church and state in Germany. The papers examine, from a variety of perspectives, the various issues and regulations that have not only defined the cooperation between state and church in Bavaria over the last 100 years, but which also played a pioneering role in the development of concordat arrangements with other countries.
